Only interested in seeing if Bronny gets better/worse
Lol.. that dude is a glorified rec player.
If he dont learn how to play PG, then he has no use
Only interested in seeing if Bronny gets better/worse
This.Still trying to understand why y'all care about this.
Get a power forward like Mobley or Chet?
Get a point guard like Cade?
- "Can he get to be a reliable three point shooter?"
Get a center like Edey?
- "They need to surround him with three point shooters."
Get a generational player like Wemby?
- "They need to surround him with three point shooters."
Nuggets losing?
- "Can he get to be a reliable three point shooter so that we can additionally surround him with three point shooters?"
Every single draft prospect analysis?
- "They don't have any three point shooters."
What do you mainly see the most when you tune in?
- "Are they a three point shooter?"
- Players shooting three pointers.
That's literally the game, in most facets: a three point shooting contest.
That's how you play winning, championship basketball.
That's literally the "problem": basketball is so optimized right now that you know what the game will come down to.
Boston Celtics Average Total Field Goal attempts in 2011: 75
Boston Celtics Average Three Point Fields Goal attempts in 2024: 50
When stars play? They basically do like what most other players do: Crossover -> Stepback -> Three Pointer/Pass to three point shooter.
Most stars wouldn't be a winning player if they didn't have a strong three point shot: which means they're going to launch them.
Basketball has basically been solved and you're only going to be an unserious team if you can't shoot three pointers at a high clip and make a high percentage of them. You basically have slim chances of beating an exceptional three point shooting team if you're not a good three point shooting team, so you got to become a good three point shooting team.
It even makes the game look exponentially easier and like no defense being played (although a lot of high-effort defense is being played) because there's simply so much spacing. A player gets a pass when they cut and the paint is wide open because the paint defender is guarding a center waiting for catch and shoot at the three point line. I'll even say some of the defense is the most aggressive as it's been, but it's completely countered by the spacing on the court now due to three point shooting.
Now picture all this and the refs still calling some of the most ridiculous fouls on a defender.
Great post but let me add to your defensive issue, there are no longer anymore defensive specialist and rim protectors because everyone needs to be good shooter. It’s never been easier to score at the rimGet a power forward like Mobley or Chet?

The game has became ”accidental”
The style of play is an issue . shyt is boring . Everyone plays the same
The NBA decided to market themselves as players over teams …which is cool when you have Magic, Micheal and Bron…but what happens when a good chunk of the league are international ? ..we see what’s happening now
There are a good chunk of fanbases that cannot watch their teams unless they either get a premium cable subscription or pay 20+ a month for a streaming app..that’s laughable. Could you imagine the NFL letting their regional matchups being handled by a near bankrupt company? Hell naw. The NBA is a joke for that . The MLB had the same issue ..difference Baseball is probably the GOAT stadium game experience and there are many of their fans who listen to radio broadcasts anyway.
So now we have a situation where the stars aren’t really there and local fanbases can’t engage with the local team outside of a subscription.
They need to figure it out because it’s a joke at the moment
Are you agreeing me in a coli babble type of way?If they are still able to command that kind of money... What does that tell you about how much "interest from the states" as you describing it....matters at all Coli business executives back at it again
