It’s crazy how players that do not matter at all get overpaid in this sport. Why is the nba spending 90 million on Patrick Williams?
Also in the NBA teams get duped off of “potential” it’s really the only league where you aren’t necessarily expected to contribute right away at a high level. shyt teams are still out here paying Tobias Harris off of what he “could” provide.

Why would teams overpay unproven players? That’s why they need collusion.
For the same reason why teams risk it all drafting them: the potential reward is massive and nobody wants to be the GM who passed that up for something safe.

and now these players come in playing less and knowing less than they did before because of one and dones.

Harris at his peak was 20/8/3 with really good shooting percentages, rarely gets seriously hurt and was super young. Harris is an above league average player who got paid off the hope that there was another level to tap into. It just never happened to where he solely impacted games, but was still productive to start on good teams. Problem is, as fans, because he never took the leap to stardom, we just think he sucks. He's not a bad player, but if you're paying him like a superstar, the return on investment isn't gonna be there.

Brother, imma keep it real with you. If you think Disney, Amazon and Comcast are facing an impending collapse that will have them unable to fulfill their contractual obligations, then we have much bigger issues than the NBA folding imma need you to rethink this statement.
You do know the way the global economy is going and the vast amount of inflation and frankly, the failures of Disney and comcast, that we do have bigger issues to think about and the statement holds up

Re-read what I said.

If that happens, we have bigger issues than the NBA. I am not saying it can't happen.

even with that, Disney's current market cap is $208 billion and Comcast is $168 billion. These are two of the biggest companies on Earth.

Bolded is my point about him, yeah he's a nice player but everybody knew he shouldn't have gotten priority over Jimmy in the first place with the 76ers.

wasn't about priority. It was that Jimmy wanted a team built around him and Miami was willing to sign up for it in a manner that the teams he had before didn't and Miami got the better end of what was expected. 4 really excellent years capped by a Finals appearance while generally being not reliable enough to play night in night out and now that tenure is ending like all his other stops.

And the 76ers would take those last 4 years in a heartbeat, Jimmy wanted to stay in Philly.

This is the epitome of new nikka babble… You can’t even critique an entertainment product anymore……. Sad part is, yall will be in another thread dog walking a Tyler Perry production…. :smh: Matter of fact, there is a whole forum on this site that’s dedicated to critiquing intellectual properties and entertainment in general…can’t make this shyt up…

You see, in all your projecting you didn't take a second to think someone can ignore something they don't like or care about. I don't give a shyt about movies or Tyler Perry but you can't find me in threads telling everyone about it. Because I don't need other people to agree with me to feel confident about my choices.
