and now these players come in playing less and knowing less than they did before because of one and dones.

I'm never gonna challenge your ball knowledge.

But, you think that more than the AAU system?

We've had some great high schoolers get drafted to the NBA and be fundamentally sound;

  • STAT
  • Dwight (I think these two played AAU...so, it might fukk up my argument)
  • Kobe
  • Mac
  • Jermaine O'Neal

I been watching the NBA since 1987, and probably the biggest NBA stan on the Coli, and I have barely paid attention to the NBA these last few years.

unwatchable.

Are you too old to stan the players in the league? That's usually the time to exit

For the record, I'm all for high schoolers going pro, but that's not what I'm getting at.

O'neal, McGrady and Kobe were all raw and needed time and got that time. Now you go to school for a year, sometimes you don't play much, especially if your team is stacked.

Dereck Lively averaged 5 and 5 in college (2.4 bpg in 20 minutes a night was crazy though). Normally, that's a one way ticket to staying in school, but now you get handed a big role on an NBA team.

Philly (BYRD GANG)
shyt is just boring as fukk. Too many 3s terrible fast breaks no mid range no big man no defense.
I mean let me add to this because I had a big conversation about this in the barbershop.

nikkas always hurt you don’t know who playing
Always complaining wanting to be trade
Dudes too friendly no rivals
Marketing players who are not really superstars

Who cares about ratings honestly? The NBA sold its packages at peak value because the networks are desperate for live sports. After this batch of deals, the packages will be cheaper but who cares?
:yeshrug:
That’s all rich people problems. You as a fan consume the sport however you do. I watch the 12 minute clips of the games I am interested every morning. I’ll stream a live game maybe twice a week on a bootleg site. I try to make 3-5 games a year.

The NBA is forever. Who cares about ratings if it ends up baseball or hockey status. You will still follow your team, make a few games, and talk shyt at the barber shop or on here. Ratings has no meaning to consumers. Some sucker network will buy the next packages at whatever lower price. All that means is less money for the owners and players. Are you mad if the only split 400Ms a year per team in 2030 instead of 450 per year?

They make money off you watching. If people don’t watch then why would advertisers care to pay you? The nfl is winning and will continue to win as long as people keep watching them. The nba has too many throwaway games that people don’t care about, same thing hurts hockey and baseball. The nba can keep kicking the can down the road but this shyt will have to be addressed at some point.
