Fukk that last picture. I could care less about hearing nas with JT on a timberland beat.

That first photo though, I’m dying to hear the GOAT of the 90’s with the GOAT of the 2000’s on a track together. Nas would of killed any feature on drogas wave.

Vernon Family should have DEFINITELY been on Hip Hop Is Dead. It should have replaced You Can’t Kill Me. Would have easily lifted that album from a solid 4 mics to 4.5....

Also if you take out Hold Down The Block and add Where Ya’ll At then we are talking debatable top
5 in his catalogue
I've only has a problem with a few nas albums sonically and hip hop is dead is one of them. Well about half of it. Vernon Family def should have made that album.

That Nas, JT, Timbaland song could very well be better than a Nas/Lupe song and I say that as a fan of both Nas and Lupe. Why? Any collabo could go either way (dope, meh, or wack). Same people called Nas a sellout for having Lauryn Hill singing a hook on Trackmasters beat and it turned out to be one of his best. And yeah, Lauryn >>>>> JT, but that's beside the point.

It has nothing to do with it being good or bad, I’m sure it will be dope. But I’ve heard nas and jay together and I’ve heard nas on a timberland beat.

But I’ve never heard nas and lupe together. And I think these two can create magic. They can easily bring out the best in each other. Lupe is at the top of his game right now, so before he disappears again, I would love for them to be in the studio with NO ID

I get what you're saying, but judging music based on past history (especially with Nas) doesn't always mean the same results for future music. Most Nas fans hated the Swizz joints on Nas albums. On Lost Tapes 2, the Swizz joints are highlights among some of the best production on a Nas album.

Lupe and Nas could in fact make something amazing, meh or wack depending on the concept/subject matter of the song.

#12 God's Son

Congrats to NaS on an amazing Career. This chart shows that when NaS's drops, he always has a Top 10 LP in the Country. He actually averages Top 5 overall when you account all the albums. NaS has also had 14 Top 5 Hip Hop/RnB Charting LP's. His only 2 Solo albums that didn't hit top 10 were "ILLmatic" and "God's Son" both peaked at #12. Only Jay Z has had more Top 10 Albums in Hip Hop History than NaS (He's tied with Eminem as well). For those wondering why "God's Son" didn't chart as high is because it came out on a Friday which wasn't a traditional release date back then. This caused it to come in at #18 on only 3 days sales. Plus NaS was facing Shana Twain back then (She had 3 straight Diamond albums) and had her comeback album during that time. It would later move up to #12 but no get any higher than that. "ILLmatic" came in at #12 and just didn't get higher. These numbers are Historic as NaS singles haven't always charted the highest. Here's a breakdown the R&B/Hip Hop Album Chart positions:

#1 It Was Written
#1 I Am....
#1 The Firm
#1 Stillmatic
#1 God's Son
#1 Hip Hop is Dead
#1 Untitled
#1 Distant Relatives
#1 Life is Good
#2 Illmatic
#2 NaStradamus
#2 Street's Disciple
#3 The Lost Tapes
#4 Nasir
#8 The Lost Tapes II
#10 QB's Finest
