^^^ If Nas rapped over this, people would be calling it the worst beat they ever heard. The switch makes that beat somewhat redeemable, but Q Tip has far better beats. And before 4:44 came out, posters on here were straight clowning No I.D. After that No I.D. suddenly became this Top 10 all time great. He gave Nas some of the same caliber production on LIG and posters on here said the production was weak.

I planned 2 skip Jarreau of Rap, but since the album dropped.....I’ve been bumping it. Something about the musicality and Esco’s flow on it makes it dope

How the fukk Nas found a way to flow on that track is insane. At first listen I didn't like it, but listening to it in contexts of the whole album, the song works.

I said this before, and this holds true for most nas albums post-Illmatic. Most of his albums have good to great critic reviews but some people have a habit of focusing on the negative ones and in todays media, people whose opinions don't matter from random twitter users, youtube and podcast shows. Am I suppose to care about what some random troll from twitter thinks?

shyt is excellent...but it's unfinished. He has to give us a 3rd verse and wrap the story up, it can't just be an introduction and a climax and that's it. Nas is too good of a writer to write a story without a Resolution of some sort to conclude, shyt is Screenwriting 101. That's why I said a lot of this album sounds like it's fresh off the cutting room floor, lot of unfinished joints. Idk why he didn't just touch them up to make em complete before putting the album out.
