Got damn is this a thread for discussing the album or for discussing internet reviews of the album? I’ve never once in my life looked up a review for a hip hop album lol. The whole idea itself is ridiculous. Why do so many of y’all care about online reviews and shyt?

I may be late on this but did Nas confirm that Beautiful Life was recorded during the LIG sessions? Because he mentions that Kelis got remarried in the first verse and she didn’t re-marry until 2014. So maybe he had the beat during LIG but it wasn’t finished.

some people are scared to formulate independent decisions and trust their ears.

I know this will go down as one of his best.

This just gets me more excited about the new album. Nas is excellent at just rapping about whatever and in a lot of these songs, he does just that. The stuff that makes the actual real albums are more focused but that is a real skill to still be able to be entertaining, and witting while be all over with place with the content in many of the songs.

Man I cant wait for his official new album either. That's going to be special.

Went to see the Gawd MC last night. shyt was rocking. Breh was doing No Bad Energy and got midway into the first verse stopped and said
“I don’t know the rest”

Good performance all around but you can definitely tell he was either drunk or high asf. We got some strong bud in VA now

I love every track on here except Royalty. The beat and hook is kinda eh.

Other than that my fav song on here keeps switching every day. Today it’s the Alchemist joint.

Even Jarreau of rap has grown on me.

Yea. “The World” makes sense based on the content of the song and when it leaked.

I would say check the tour dates and see which one is coming near you. The shows that's nearest to me only had Mary on the tour (Foxwoods and Atlantic City), then they added a show at the Barclays, so i might check that one or check out the one in Boston since it'll be both of them.

If the Nas/Erykah Badu show I went to is any indication then the split is pretty fair. Nas got a whole hour to do his thing. Went through alot of his catalogue (he came out to the first verse of No Introduction) and ended with One Mic
