I’m glad everyone is seeing what I’ve been seeing since the album dropped. I’ve been seeing a lot of people say they love the album, which is great too see. Me personally i can play every song all the way through with no problem. It just kills me when i read people like Rosenberg and other media personalities say negative stuff about the project when it’s not from a genuine opinion.
People like Rosenberg is still in their feelings about the kanye stuff. At this point I don’t respect anyone opinions who can’t separate the man from the music

Big nas fan but this aint it. Might be his worst album. The beats and production are mediocre and sound like kanye put it together in a week. No excuse when you only got 7 tracks. Not for radio and adam and eve are the standouts imo. "everything" is typical over produced kanye half singing trash. not sure what yall see in that track. Nas vocals dont even start until 2 minutes into it and the beat does nothing. I wanna like cops shot the kid but they didnt flip the sample well cause its too short of a loop. Slick ricks vocals repeating through the whole track was a terrible decision cause its distracting. Should have just been the hook.

How is Everything of all tracks the one that is over produced? :mjlol:

Cats grasping for straws trying/reaching for a reason to downplay this project.

Nas has always has an unorthodox flow. But sometimes people say he is off beat when i think that's just his flow in general
It’s not the same tho. Nas sounds sluggish as fukk :flabbynsick:

Even if you don’t wanna day he’s off beat, Nas’ flow is one of his strongest traits as an all-time great MC.

It’s nothing more than average on most of this album.

I listened to the album a bunch of times. My quick thoughts as a Nas stan...

Adam and Eve is my favorite track. Matter of fact that run from track 4 to 7 is pretty dope. I'm not in love with White Label like everyone else. And I can't really stand Cops Shot the Kids.

I will say this tho... the 7 track format does these artists NO FAVORS. Especially an artist like Nas. He needs a whole project to really cook. This feels too short. The other downside with 7 songs is that each song has to be HEAT. Cant be any skippables on a 7 song effort. A 14 track album would have been dope.
