Maybe he's being constructive by saying what he said. Guess the music isn't moving him. But I guess at that point are you really a Nas fan if you don't like a majority of his music?
There’s nothing constructive about what he came in and said. If u don’t like a nikka music for 30 fukking years it’s safe to say ur not a fan of that artist.

Nas never made the album with DJ Premier but has now made 3 forgettable projects with Hit-Boy and for me that’s his career in a nutshell since Illmatic.

You should go listen to "N.Y. State of Mind" then if that's what you're looking for. :unimpressed:

I’ve heard those Pryhme joints with Royce and Preem and the production ain’t see these Hit boy albums. :yeshrug:

That sail has shipped a long time ago.
Nah, some of them beats on PRyhme 2 Nas would have floated on. Preemo still got it in him to make classic joints.

I’m not one of those that say Nas needs to do an album with Preemo, I love what he is doing with Hit-boy. but if he did a joint with Preem I wouldn’t be mad at all.

The only thing is they would need another pair of ears in the studio to keep em grounded. Nas and Primo both have an ear for abstract shyt, so if it was just the two of em they would do some classic joints but then they would also do some out there shyt.

the thing that works with Hit-boy is that he appeals to Nas more melodic side, which I feel suits him at this point in his life.

Good question & the answer is yes I’ve been a Nas fan since Illmatic & I don’t have to like everything he ever puts out to consider myself a fan.

If u don’t like anything he put out after an album that dropped 30 years ago u need to reevaluate ur fandom. Maybe ur just a fan of that product. And not the artist associated with it.
