NY all day..Da Stead & BK..

Is this fukking goofball serious? One on One? Is this nikka stupid? The shyt was on the Street Fighter soundtrack and Teedra Moses made a whole song dedicated to Nas with the same sample. This nikka think this makes him some type of super Nas fan or something? Lol

I will slightly disagree on one: Just Blaze. Hov fans have definitely talked about it, and it's an actual thing. There's some type of issue between Jay and Just Blaze. 9th and Guru have lightly touched on it before.

Just probably mad Jay-Z sonned him about only wanting to play video games on Fade To Black. It became a “thing” for a minute to make fun of JB

That song was so "obscure" that it introduced me to Nas and made me a fan because the video got a lot of play back then (I don't recall the Ilmatic songs getting much play on BET let alone elsewhere though I was young at the time so I might have missed it or forgotten).

That's far from obscure...maybe to casuals but they don't matter anyway.

I'm trying to picture how KD3 will sound and I have a feeling this is going to be epic. :lupe:

At this point I wouldn’t be shocked if KD3 ends up being on the level of Illmatic and IWW because Nas and Hit-boy cooked up what feels like an instant classic to me in 3 months with Magic. I think with KD3, Nas may come with a few concept songs that remind listeners of the creativity he displayed on Fetus, I Gave You Power and Rewind.

This right here is literally the only thing missing and I feel like he’s gonna try to recapture that. That would be crazy. Last concept song I heard from him was Queens Wolf and that shyt was so dope to me.

Death Row East and Car #85 aren’t concept songs?

Good callout. Both great songs that have concept and storytelling elements, but I think he’s going to aim slightly higher on the creative/storytelling fronts on KD3 for a few songs. I’m thinking Blaze A 50 storytelling and Rewind creativity. With that said, I fully welcome more songs like Death Row East (reminds me of Last Real N Alive) and Car 85 because him and Charlie did their thing.
