Directors Cut 4 by Ransom is fueling a lot of my writing now a days.
Again I don't hate this album nor do I think it's meh. I said it was great backing music.
Well the only reason people were trying to not count Magic is because they were trying downgrade the run Nas is on. They couldn’t believe he could drop two classics in that short period of a time. So some decided let’s call it an “Ep” instead. I see the games they play.

Which joints u not feeling? The only ones I feel are understandable are Abracadabra and Black Magic. Even tho I fukk wit both those joints.

Nas is my Goat but saying he recently dropped 2 classics is bugging. None of these 5 albums can stand along side certified classics like Illmatic, It Was Written or Stillmatic. These are solid probably 4.0 Mic projects and Esco definitely is aging gracefully and his flow is still there but let's not get carried away. Honestly I wish he would lock in with another producer. The Hit Boy cat is cool but I always feel something is missing with these projects.
Magic and KD3 for sure 2 modern day classics. All classics aren’t created equal. Albums like illmatic, it was written, and stillmatic are god level. Also you can want what you want, but Nas is who he is so he can work with whatever producer he wants.

The last portion of "Office Hours" with the second Nas verse is dope. "Michael Earving" was one of those joints where it just went in another direction than what I thought. It may grow on me.
