"Magic" Don Juan??! Nah, that fit. It sounds like that was just Magic's Hip Hop 50 segment that a lot of people have been doing and Nas just decided to put his on the album because of his name, lol. And because of what he was saying...like it or not (I hate it), he embodies that "rapper" lifestyle.
I ain’t gon lie, on my first listen I didn’t catch that it was Bishop Don Juan. I thought it was just Nas doing an old folks voice, kinda like how he did the country voice at the start of IWW

fukk, this album's getting better. :snoop:

As far as the Hit-Boy albums go, I would rank this at #4, but that's just because KD3, Magic, and KD2 are that good. I see what people are saying about Nas' performance. He's moving so fast and gliding over these beats so much, you can't even catch everything he's saying. :damn:

I really had to think about it just now, but there are no songs I can point to and be like "Why is this on here?" The first time, the last three tracks were what grabbed me immediately. But now, after following the lyrics and listening to the songs I wasn't into originally, everything sounds better. I see what @NoHalfWay is saying about Nas' rapping because he has that Street's Disciple aggression right now. It's not even fair that he's 50 and performing at this level.

"Bokeem Woodbine" definitely has bounce, it's just not as obvious as "Meet Joe Black" or "Hollywood Gangsta." It sneaks in your ear and then you realize how Nas is moving on the hook. Or with "Earvin Magic Johnson," it might take some time to make an impact, but when it does, it's hard to get the beat out of your head.

Speaking of 50. Just got back home from his show in Denver. Got a floor ticket at last minute, wasn't sure about seeing dude live. Saw him maybe back in 2006 or so...but
Ball Arena was sold out. 50 tore it up, can't lie. Not even a big 50 head but he brought it. Even brought Flo Rida out on stage :dead:

But on the real dude did a good show. Would be so dope to see Nas on the same card. Bustas set was a little short but he got love.
