I’ve had this album on repeat since 10AM this morning and I just now took a break just to listen to “Magic” and the “King’s Disease” series.

This is the definitive grown rap albums. Hit-Boy is attached to Nas for the rest of his career. He just..GETS it.

Production cool.

Erving Johnson and the 21 Savage songs the only 2 I'm lukewarm about.

Nas kinda just on a laid back time with his subject matter.

It's basically:

*I'm a legend.
*I don't care what the critics say.
*I do rich shyt.
*I was on some street shyt that you don't know about back in the day.
*I coulda got you killed.


shyt cool but this the same shyt people (including me) bash Jay Z for.


Still a good album and better than all the KD 1 and 2
I like KD 3 a lil more.
Not sure yet if this better than Magic 1.

People knocked him for the stuff he was rapping about in his career though. Friends of mine being like “Nas be rapping about pyramids” and shyt like that. He has “better” beats now and his subject matter should be more palatable to the people that was criticizing before. They still making excuses. He can’t win with these people lol. I’m just appreciating his music, his legend was solidified like 23 or so years ago. He’s just having fun with it at this point.
