Freddie Gibbs is a clown of the HIGHEST order but he’s never to date disrespected Nas.

My mans said the “fukkin Fredo’s” shyt is a double entendre cause he talking about Godfather 2 but he also talking about Freddie Gibbs

Also on Cordae's album "From a Bird’s Eye View." the song "Champagne Glasses" (featuring Freddie Gibbs and Stevie Wonder) was supposed to have a Nas verse on it but it was taken off the song with no explanation unless I missed it. Check the comments below.

there are complaints that 50's verse sounds more like a voice mail because he stops rapping and his outro takes too much of his verse slot before the chorus comes back in...hitboy's team kinda dropped the ball and didn't realize to split the submitted 50 vocals in half, one for the rapping segment, and another for the outro

so, have the Nas chorus arrive immediately after 50 ends his verse, borrowing the pristine vocals from the first chorus without the overlay, and then move the 50 adlibs to the back intertwined with the Nas adlibs so that it sounds like Nas and 50 are having a conversation after the chorus even though they are talking about completely different things...Nas in his outro kinda bridged it by jokingly saying that he was going to drop his next album on g-unit but then talk excessively about Fredos, which can be cut shorter...50 cent had a better outro talking about being too rich, shouting out queens and jungle, and being out there and that should be how the song ends

People knocked him for the stuff he was rapping about in his career though. Friends of mine being like “Nas be rapping about pyramids” and shyt like that. He has “better” beats now and his subject matter should be more palatable to the people that was criticizing before. They still making excuses. He can’t win with these people lol. I’m just appreciating his music, his legend was solidified like 23 or so years ago. He’s just having fun with it at this point.

Nas has always rapped about black history and black excellence. There are bars spread out across Magic 2 thats on the same subject matter. Nas is just in an era of his career where he’s releasing at a much higher clip so we’ll be getting whatever mind state he’s in over the course of a much shorter time period. KD2 was chalk FULL of knowledge and black history references. Less so for Magic and KD3 because he was touring (which means less time for reading and researching) and now with Magic 2 he’s been going to lots more industry events/parties/and the such and he’s been FINALLY getting the credit and respect he deserves from the media so of course this era would be more bragaddoucious and celebratory
