People first started crying when they found out One Mic, One Gun was a bonus track. Then some started crying when they saw the tracklist, other people are upset that album's name is Magic 2, like he named it Illmatic 2 and not after an album that he released just two years ago. And now people are throwing their phones at the wall after one listen through.

Never change The Coli when it comes to Nas' music :russ:

On second listen I'm not 100% sure this ranks lowest, it might compete with KD1 in the future - but KD1 is STILL growing on me so that's saying a lot.

GOAT :wow:

Al is gonna give him some left field shyt in a different way. Like some obscure shyt. Life for instance. What he gave Roc Marci for Saw. But the problem is. I feel like these same people wouldn’t appreciate that type of shyt for Nas either. People need to come to terms that they just like to hear Nas over more traditional boom bap shyt and just call it a day. It's not about being a Nas fan and not being able to criticize him. It’s that nikkas been unfairly trying to pigeonhole son since his second album. The fact that IWW was met with any type of resistance is mind boggling as fukk. Issue is it’s not consistent criticism with everyone. Like. Some of them same people would tell u with a straight face LAD is the greatest hip hop album of all time. lol. That shyt got straight up disco flips on it. lol.

And we saw what happened when Nas and Primo linked up last year for what was the most safest song which would please them

I do fux with LAD though and I would have thought ppl who hate iww would hate that lol

The :flabbynsick: :flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick: out of :flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick::flabbynsick: Nas fans gonna hate this shyt :mjlol:

But, this the biggest risk he taken in a long time far as going against expectations. First Magic was like late 90s early 00s vibe, this is space aged in some ways

This post made me laugh lol.

i'm a say what it is, i'm the one takin the risks

There's about 7 gym worthy tracks on this lol It's a banger.

I noticed some real samples on here too they must have paid a lot for. Most of the albums in this run have had samples from I think sample packs (which is fine with me) That Office Hours sample is one of my favorites Ghostface used that one on Shakey Dog I'm pretty sure 🐕

Yeah I can even feel it in Nas' voice, I've heard it before.. There's a few moments where he gets back to "normal" like on Slow it Down or a couple other verses, but globally he's sounding different, like on some of the bad moments of his career 😔
Yea Slow it Down is crazy..
The album is growing on me I'm on the 3rd spin but it's still easily the weakest of the Hit-Boy era.

Funny thing is even though the first Magic album had that vibe the usual suspects still complained. So there's really no winning, Nas even called them out on Wu for the Children but to no avail :hubie:

You would think with any and all music available to stream they would just listen to his old shyt without having to dust off their walkmans, but no they want him to make 90s shyt in 2023 :mindblown:

Nah this album is fukking trash

Everyone will continue acting like the sun shines out of hitboys ass though and that these two can't do no wrong

I don't wanna see no one calling for KD4, the formula was played out before this album.

Anybody wanna bet kd4 drops this joker will be front row with his expertise takes

Then you clowns wonder why you have no credibility
