Putting Nas in the studio with ALC solves nothing besides Nas doing music with ya'lls favorite producer. Even with ALC, its going to be people who see that union as overrated as well. Rinse, wash and recycle. This whole "Hit Boy is overrated, Nas needs (insert favorite producer)" is nothing more than people mad because he's not doing an album with their favorite producer.

I've said it before, Timbaland is my favorite producer. He possibly helmed the follow up to Life Is Good, but it's unreleased. That was a dream for me. I'm not going to go out of way to diss a Hit Boy collaboration just because I want to hear Nas over Timbaland production. Imm

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Sh*t, I would. LOL!!

Most of the sh*t I hear Al doing with other people, is the kinda sh*t I would love for Nas to be doing. Soulful beats that knock. ALC has evolved since "Keep It Thoro" and "We Gonna Make It". Dude's music is much better than it was 20+ years ago. I saw him in a session not too long ago, and when he cooks something up, the whole room goes crazy. Rappers have to battle for his beats, most of the time. That's the level he's working on today. Which is why so many people want him to do their whole project.

He knows who to give which tracks to. So I think he's easily a dope choice for Nas. I don’t see how people wouldn't like that. I can't remember the last time ALC missed on anything he dropped. No one's been more consistent on the beats than he has, in mad long.
Bro I love Al I was just defending him in the other Nas thread. But this ain’t about Al. It’s about Nas. It’s about what people wanna hear Nas rap over. And that answer is all over the damn place based on what type of fan u are. shyt Al did “It Never Ends” which is straight up fire to me but people didn’t even really care. If Al gave that same beat to Benny or Roc or some shyt people would’ve been buggin. There’s a whole section of Nas fans that wouldn’t appreciate that type of shyt I’m telling u. lol.

Hit Boy is like that coach that some fans didn’t want for their team and maybe an older name was what they were fantasy booking
But he wins anyway and they gotta begrudge it but say shyt like “they’d be in a smoother offense with Phil running the triangle “ even if they win a title ….but if they go deep and lose or run into their first roadblock everyone is calling for him to be fired :pachaha:

That Pistols on your Album Cover is dope as hell. I like the majority of the album but I feel a lot of the hooks left more to be desired. Like another hook on Abracadabra really could have set it off.
Motion is another favorite but could use a better hook.

None of the songs are bad, though Bokeem Woodbine seems out of place on my second run.

Overall good ass job

Edit: I have a much better appreciation for this in the car. I love it.

I don’t want an Album with Nas and Alchemist. Alc has his list he’s already with and that’s cool. Nas and Hitboy makes sense because nobody expected that. Hitboy is doing his thing and I’m not mad at it. I’m just appreciating the music.
