I'm sure that questlove/roots line was intentional. Hmm..
Nas petty as fukk (aka a real QUEENS dude lol) he seems to be aware of and remember every slight somebody ever threw at him - while bragging that he doesn't pay attention or care about anybodys opinion.

That was absolutely intentional, just like "nikkaz spit on my platinum plaques would probably spit on my grave" was about that idiot who bytched out on camera when he ran into Ebro.

LOL!! That's a lot of facts in one post.

Thing about Alchemist though, if he can make really dope albums with dudes like Larry and Boldy, imagine what he could do for Nas. They already have mad history. It's time for them to knock out that whole album together. I understand Nas is up there in "age" by Hip Hop standards, but he's a legend, he doesn't have to worry about doing what's current or teaming up with younger talent.

Someone pointed out earlier that the younger acts that Billboard will tell you are the "biggest" rappers in the game, have had to cancel shows because they can't even sell tickets. Meanwhile, Nas and Wu are selling out their shows. So it goes to show you, Hip Hop legends don’t have to chase what the newer acts are doing. They can stay in their lane and be just fine because their true fans (who are usually older), are going to make sure to always spend the bread to support them, no matter what. With that said, Nas should still call Alchemist, lol.

By his own perspective I think Nas wants someone who’s gonna push him to try new flows and new sounds while also keeping it traditional. Him and Al definitely cooked in the God’s Son sessions but I think sonically that stuff has been matched

I’m not against him and Alchemist on a whole album together but I don’t know if it’s gonna be that different than what Hit does when he does his impression and I could see Nas being a bit bored over it

Like I know some people are gonna have mixed feelings over Nas rapping on a Memphis beat on this but that’s what I mean. Is Al gonna give him left field shyt to inspire him

This was cool off first spin. I think calling it Magic 2 has people fukked up, and they maybe should've just called this something else. It's just a completely different sound from the first one, but Nas is rapping his ass off on this.
that’s the purpose to be a completely different sound.
Magic was released in the winter dark sound
Magic 2 realeased in summer a more vibe sound
