Nah

Pass

Allowing voices outside the culture to hold weight within is why folks are mad at pitchfork now. He's not more qualified than any random goofy at home with a camera.

The Coli collective is the only review I care about. Well I also listen to randos on YouTube. At least I know most are being honest and have no agenda to push. Just some regular people giving their opinions. The consensus is usually on the point.

Outside of Tyler, try to listen to any album Pitchfork has given best new music to this year and see if you last more than 5 minutes

should add.. the Iceage and Dry Cleaning albums are kinda heat, but point still stands most of the shyt they praise on that site is trash

No he hasn’t
lol for the most part atleast.I knw hes super biased towards Kendrick Lamar .:dead:.I get his tone can be condescending but out of all the vultures and music critics, he's actually the only one thats keeps it strictly music...:dead:

Highest rated Hiphop albums in recent years according to him
is Kings Disease 2 and Miles by Blu & Exile

Thats pretty accurate if you ask me

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Y’all seem to not get the point. No one cares about a fukkin pitchfork review but when someone like that can do a review in bad faith and screw over Nas’ critical acclaim in one swoop just to change the narrative of his work it needs to be called out. fukk all that ignoring shyt this type of shyt needs to be highlighted so we can boot these muthafukkas out of the culture.

I can't lie the more I listen to this the thing that stands out is Nas' content is a lot more shallow now. Most of the songs are bragging about money. Now Nas has always been one of the best at fly talk right from the beginning, but man it just sounds like damn near every verse is just money talk.

I'm not saying there isn't any other content beyond that but just feels like he has less to say. This feels closer to a 2000s era Jay-Z album.

And I get it, Nas seems legitmately happy and in a good place. He's not the same person he was in the past but I hold him up to a high standard and with all that's going on in the world and America you'd think he could do more than just rap about material shyt.

I still like the album but that hunger just isn't there from him anymore.
