This album right here is just incredible..It sounds like a TEDxTalk seminar featuring NaS where’s he giving 51 minutes of uncut game and inspiration.

KD1 is like a nice appetizer before the main course (KD2) that gets you full.
Very nice analogy. Unfiltered truth over absolutely immaculate production :mjcry:

Anybody hating on hitboy at this point is a fool. Truthfully Nas and Hit are such a good combination, I wouldn't mind hit being the exec producer for every nas album moving forward. Even if he doesnt do every beat. Hit will craft the project correctly and make sure the fire isnt left off.

The sequencing is so good. In an era where albums are just a collection of songs to stream, they dropped an album that feels like a journey. The intro feels like an intro is supposed to feel. Next few tracks hit you hard in the face. Middle tracks have a mellow vibe with nostalgia themes and the love songs. And then the end is like an emotional rollercoaster with the last 3-4 tracks hitting you in the heart/brain.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
This ain’t no technical analysis; mostly just how I felt about the records a few days into my listening. Overall, I think KD2 is better than LIG. There’s a few records on LIG that I never really liked that much that messed up the flow of the album for me. And they left off some strong records that they only included on the deluxe version. Both great records, though, but KD2 definitely gets the nod over LIG a few days in.

Hit-Boys stock has jumped significantly. Between both KD albums, Burden of Proof and a lot of the other stuff he’s created…..I hope he mixes it up and does full projects for others.
