On my 3rd listen...first two in my car this one on quality headphones.....
That's madd important...this album should be experienced only on high level sound equipment, especially to appreciate Hitboy's genius like it should be appreciated.

Cherry Wine is but this is a close second
Hit-Boys stock has jumped significantly. Between both KD albums, Burden of Proof and a lot of the other stuff he’s created…..I hope he mixes it up and does full projects for others.
I’d LOVE to see what kind of work a Hit Boy produced Raekwon album would sound like.
This shyt right here
I would honestly rather Rae with Alchemist, Madlib, Harry Fraud, even Roc Marci, etc etc.Hit Boy is a MASTER at the cinematic type of production. He’d give Raekwon a PERFECT canvas for OBFCL3
The sequencing is so good. In an era where albums are just a collection of songs to stream, they dropped an album that feels like a journey. The intro feels like an intro is supposed to feel. Next few tracks hit you hard in the face. Middle tracks have a mellow vibe with nostalgia themes and the love songs. And then the end is like an emotional rollercoaster with the last 3-4 tracks hitting you in the heart/brain.
I only play the Green Lantern remix over the Marvin Gaye instrumentalYou all don't put "Queens Story" on your LIG lists???? Nas was a gorilla on that....

Hit Boy can sprinkle bits of all of their styles in what he’d cook up for Rae PLUS Rae would get more of a commercial boost from the association.
The "purists" may have a problem with it tho. Hitboy's sound is too "big"...despite how amazing it is. I agree with you tho.
