The "purists" may have a problem with it tho. Hitboy's sound is too "big"...despite how amazing it is. I agree with you tho.

I'm not necessarily diagreeing with you. But I'm having a hard time seeing why a purist wouldn't be excited about beats like store run, composure, my bible, count me in, nobody, moments, nas is good?

Like, what? how can you be into rap music and not like those beats?

Gave this album a whip test and it passed with flying colors :wow: And mind you, I got a 2015 Ford Fusion SE…Its sound quality is nice but it ain’t touching a Beemer’s audio system. So if y’all got a luxury whip with some crazy speakers, y’all definitely finna enjoy this shyt :whew: My mother drives a Beemer so Imma do a second whip test soon.

It was raining earlier too….Have y’all ever blasted 40 Side, Rare, Store Run, Nobody, and Count Me In from the whip while either cruising or going full speed on the highway during light or medium rain and gray skies? shyt was unbelievably beautiful brehs, most especially Nobody and Count Me In like holy fukk:mjcry: :mjcry::ohlawd:

Throw some Alpines in that bytch:jawalrus: and one of these right behind the head unit

9/10 Nas can save a weak beat with his flow/bars etc...

this was not one of those times. That beat was BASURA and overpowered him. If he raps the same lyrics over almost any other instrumental it would be miles better.

Oh man I couldn't disagree more. I think that album was Remi in rare form. It's very operatic

Lol Life is Good is not a 5 mic album. It's a good album, not great. I put Kings Disease 2 over jt.
Damn near 10 years later and it still holds up it's definitely a 5 mic album. All 5 mic albums don't have to be perfect, especially if it still holds up well and is top level.

Side bar but I've been seeing a lot of people who dislike World's an Addiction. Just wanted to say there is a lot of detail in the production if you listen in some good headphones with a good source. Just listened to it again with a decent setup and it sounds a lot better catching all the details of the production.

And of course Nas was doing his thing on it.

Edit: Wanted to add that it sounds like something that would fit on Late Registration. Slap it somewhere between the Roses/Bring Me Down/Addiction run and it fits right in, however you may feel about that sound.
