I also can respect Large Pro’s criticism more than the others. When he talked about Nasir he said if he had presented the Cops Shot The Kid beat to Nas it would be rejected for being lazy basically. And I can see that point of view. Kanye’s involvement was so lazy and uninspired that I get why he felt some type of way, seeing the production/engineering/etc handled like that.

It's fine if he wasn't feeling that project. It's obviously not Nas's best work. But the fact that he immediately brought it back to himself tells you everything you need to know.

Nas ain’t even have time to reject that shyt. Lol. Kanye had that nikka fly all the way to Wyoming last minute and hit that nikka wit the okie doke :snoop:.
And he rapped over different beats in the studio. The entire thing is the weirdest shyt ever to me. Nas is not the type to criticize anyone in the media so he’ll never say it..but I think him going to Kanye’s protege says it all.

Teyana Taylor wasn’t shy at all when talking about how Kanye butchered her shyt. She didn’t even know the album was coming out, then learned it was unfinished and the samples weren’t cleared. She got so mad she retired lol. And I don’t blame her.

And this is why he ain’t say shyt when Hit Boy was shifting on Ye. On some I’m not gonna shyt on him myself but I’m not gonna stop nobody else from doin it type shyt. Lol

While I don't personally think highly of Nasir, I think it was something that Nas probably was proud of creating. I mean, there's a mini movie for that album and what not. It was a different process, but I think there were good intentions, it was just Kanye smothered in the hype of his own genius.

I don't really look at Hitboy as a Kanye protege. He worked with Kanye on some songs, but he came in the game under Polow Da Don's wing.

Hitboy had legit reasons for saying what he said about Kanye. Kanye acted like he had to check in with him before he worked with Jay and Beyonce. I think that soured their relationship because Kanye didn't have production on either album and Hitboy was on both and his song with Beyonce was even a single.

Breh, I waited to respond as I wanted to have a more tapered response. Played this in the whip, at home, on the headphones and ever play it gets better and better.

Don't like the em verse that has to be removed.

But this is one the best albums I have listened to in years. It's overwhelming!

Nah I know Hitboy has his own issues with Ye. But I peeped that Nas didn’t stop him like he would normally do just to keep the peace publicly.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
I can vouch for the Large Pro "beef" although I think it got squashed QUICK. Large Pro left a comment in one of Nas ig posts about being disrespected at the QB live event and it was harsh. Sth like "I don't know why I even bothered to show up, shoulda never put you on BBQ Smh".

It got deleted quick and they were bigging each other up not long after so mightve been a drunk misunderstanding, but it was 100% real.
:picard: Damn, he must’ve been mad mad

Random how the fukk did nikkaz not like World's an Addiction:wow::damn:

9/10 Nas can save a weak beat with his flow/bars etc...

this was not one of those times. That beat was BASURA and overpowered him. If he raps the same lyrics over almost any other instrumental it would be miles better.
