People must've forgot that even tho Naruto is retarded as a person, on the battlefield he had a special talent/genius that others couldn't match.

We being real, when it came to the young Konoha shinobi, on the battlefield only Shikamaru and Sasuke are naturally smarter than Naruto, but he developed the aptitude to learn through fighting and that aided him numerous times throughout this entire series. The nerve of nikkas to challenge Young Uzi's greatness while plot armor is the only reason Sauce is even alive right now.

Virtually every great Konoha ninja is smarter than Naruto in battle. And even though Kishimoto plot-no-jutsu and killed off Neji, he was originally a smarter ninja in battle than Naruto too. Naruto is the George Bush of Hokages. It's no wonder he needs Kakashi like Bush needed Cheney.

lmao nikka what FTG is a teleporting tech naruto does not teleport he moves super fast so saying the comparison is their speed is incorrect. nikkas gonna act like Sasuke could have won against Pein at their strengths at that time. At that current time in the manga the only 2 ninjas that could have possibly beaten Pein was itachi and naruto.

nikkas ms sasuke was slightly stronger than sage mode naruto, imo given the same situation (pain wants to capture instead of kill,sasuke is fed info from the slug about pain's moves etc) sasuke would put up a better fight but still lose. when i say reminiscent...i don't mean same thing....slow as nikka... it reminded them of the FTG because of the speed...naruto can't transverse long distances like the FTG....but in CQC naruto is there. I never said he could do FTG just his body flicker is just as fast in close quarters....

This is just your opinion, not fact. Whereas Jiraiya fought and died to learn about Pain's jutsu, Naruto was told those secrets by others, including Sakura's snail summon. Without this coaching it's uncertain what Naruto would have done to defeat Pain. If Naruto was focused on defeating Pain's clones when the real enemy isn't even the clones. Sasuke, on the other hand, is smarter and would likely have deduced Pain's jutsu in similar manner to how Sasuke deduced Danzo's Sharingan. As Jiraiya death shows, deducing how Pain's jutsu works is the difference between life and death, else opposing ninja end up wasting their chakra and allowing Pain to get the upperhand. Without coaching, this is likely what would have happened to Naruto.

I never said pain couldn't have taken naruto if he wasn't trying to capture him, I simply said naruto and itachi were the only two ninjas capable of beating Pein.

I don't get why some of you keep painting naruto as this dumb knuckle head ninja. Sasuke having flashier moves and knowing more jutsus doesn't automatically make him smarter. Even madara realized with the quickness that he's a totally different ninja in that he always came at his problems with unique solutions. Sasuke is flattered by his eyes. And even then his older brother was much more efficient at using them.
