Kakashi didn't have a sharingan before getting Obito's, so that's why he doesn't have EMS. Also he is not an Uchiha so it wouldn't work.
And they already showed Kakashi getting the MS Via Rin's death. Just that because he is not an Uchiha that he had to train his eyes more before he obtained it.

0bito unlocked eyes when he saw rin die. kakashi was overwhelmed & passed out asap.... he trained for years to control it cause he aint uchiha.. the only reason obito aint blind gotta be the senju dna... neither got ems so far & kakashi goin blind....

I think obito eyes are just plain unique, Sasuke, itachi, madara all similar abilities. even all of Danzos eyes had similar abilities, i rememember Zetsu saying "this is why madara chose you". nobody else can do what obito does, hes special.
