I've just accepted that some people really are fukking stupid. Plain and simple. Not even trying to be facetious. These are just...dumb folks who don't have the patience for real news gathering and information. Perceiving everything as deceptive and Speaking bullshyt into the air, claiming to have some higher wisdom than others is just how these loser cope with a complicated world. It's only a shame we live in an era where anyone can have a profile to spew nonsense and conspiracies to influence others. But I've just accepted we live in a new era of media and information. The conspiracy theorists are right, mainstream media is dead. There is no longer a TV box delivering content every evening at 6PM that lives up to certain competitive standards. We now live in a world where you have the responsibility to choose your news and information when you go on your smart phone, and to discern between those with no reputation who only seek to gain notoriety and attention, and those who are living up to those true standards of journalism. And most people do not know or respect the difference. In fact the bullshyt conspiracies are more easy to understand and exciting. I just accept that this is a normal part of life now in 2022. Mike Judge's Idiocracy was a prophetic prediction of what human nature will look like in 50 years. We have to accept that not everyone knows what real journalism is and we really live in a new era of open and normalized stupidity.
