X-Men: Dream's End
Uncanny X-Men #388 X-Men v2 #108 Bishop: The Last X-Men #16 Cable &87
In Washington D.C., Senator Kelly addresses the nation to talk about the threat of mutantkind. Xavier has information leading him to suspect that Mystique is planning on assassinating Kelly, though it is strange that she would let herself be so obvious. the powers of peoWolverine helps Rogue, who is manifesting ple she has absorbed in the past, to try and cope with the added personalities and powers.
All is well until she hears Mystique laugh in her head. Rogue discovers that Mystique is on Muir Isle. Xavier tries to contact Moira but discovers that he cannot reach her. On Muir Isle, Wolfsbane discovers Mystique and goes to alert the X-Men. Cable and the X-Men continue to watch Kelly, who is speaking in Boston. Kelly suddenly tells the people that they should not persecute mutants but, before he can continue, the Brotherhood of Mutants attack. As Rogue, Wolverine and Bishop reach Muir Isle, the entire island explodes! Unbeknownst to the X-Men, Mystique has mutated the Legacy Virus to only affect humans and plans on unleashing her new disease.
Cable is doubting if joining the X-Men was a right decision. Thinking back to an incident years ago, when he saved a very young Rogue from a few mutant-hating boys who tried to kill her, but then left her behind. He thinks that maybe her life would have been different if he had taken her along. Cable thinks that this was just one of many bad decisions in his life. His thoughts are interrupted by Avalanche, Blob and the Post crashing in on Senator Kelly’s speech. Cable tries his best to protect the senator and telepathically alerts Beast and Gambit, who are on the roof as back-up. The tide turns and now the X-Men gain the upper hand, when suddenly Cable recognizes a terminally ill man observing the battle. It’s Pyro, who is dying from the Legacy Virus. He points Cable to there being a fourth Brotherhood member in the female Mastermind and, indeed, she has been altering their perceptions. Cable takes the illusionist out but Post is already close enough to shoot Kelly once and for all. His powers flaring up a final time, Pyro engulfs Post in flame, killing him. Before he dies, Pyro urges Senator Kelly to change his anti-mutant views. Impressed by the former villain’s heroic act, Kelly promises that he will try to improve human/mutant relations.
Just as Rogue, Wolverine and Bishop arrive on Muir Island, the lab complex blows up right in front of them. The Toad is easily defeated and Bishop finds Sabretooth just in time to stop him from killing Wolfsbane, who is stuck among the debris. Having absorbed some of the explosion’s force, Bishop has enough energy stored within himself to blast Sabretooth two times, knocking him out. He frees Wolfsbane, ordering her to search for Moira, and runs into what seems to be senator Kelly. Bishop and Kelly argue quite a bit about their views on mutants, until Wolverine interrupts, attacking “Kelly,” who is actually Mystique in disguise. However, Bishop was aware of this and had tried to get through to her with words, rather than violence. In the confusion, she slips away, leaving the two X-Men to search for the missing Moira. Finally, they find her among the ruins, badly wounded, possibly not to survive the day. However, Moira has disturbing news: Mystique’s tampering with the Legacy Virus gave her the right idea for a cure. Outside, Rogue witnesses Mystique use Forge’s Neutralizer Gun on the unsuspecting Wolfsbane, permanently negating her mutant powers. Mystique insanely explains that, once her Legacy Virus has killed all humans, Earth will truly belong to the mutant race and, with the Gun, she can keep them all in check. Rogue tries to reason with her adoptive mother, who at first seems to give in but then rams a knife into Rogue’s gut, leaving her for dead. When Bishop and Wolverine arrive, they are caught in a Mexican stand-off, Bishop ready to use shoot Mystique with his own weapon, while Mystique threatens to Neutralizer on Logan, which would kill him as his healing factor is tied to his life energies. The situation is solved by Rogue coming around and stabbing Mystique with the bone claws she absorbed from Logan.

Rogue, Bishop, Wolverine and Rahne fly across the Atlantic on a jet to get back to the mansion to deliver the dying Moira MacTaggart, who holds the cure for the Legacy Virus in her head. Rogue begins the surgery on Moira, but the X-Men head right into a storm, which makes things more difficult. While no one is around, Wolfsbane promises the unconscious Mystique that, when she kills her, she will make sure she screams. At the mansion Colossus is not happy and begins to realize that the dream of peaceful coexistence will never be fulfilled. Xavier talks to Colossus and apologizes for replacing the Russian’s dream with his own, but Colossus tells him not to and that it was his choice to join and stay with the X-Men. Rogue realizes that they will not make it to the mansion in time and is about to absorb Moira to get the data, but finally Xavier hears Moira’s calls in her mind. Xavier and Jean reach Moira and the two lovers begin the data transfer, but Xavier begins to flat line, as he does not want to live without Moira. Kelly begins his new speech on equality with mutant kind, but Cable temporarily leaves him to save Xavier. Cable and Jean convince Xavier to let Moira go, who finally passes away, after announcing her love for Charles. Cable returns to Kelly just in time to see him assassinated, not by a mutant, but by a human.
Damn so a lot of shyt happened here.
