That NTC was the worst decision ever, yall could have probably pillaged the Kings for their picks from now till 2050 if he didn't have it now that Gay is hurt.

Yep Or even a team like the Wizards who could use another scorer

Hell Torontos a team that needs to take a gamble.

Another team who has a desperate gm that probably would have given up a few picks is Orlando who needs a scorer

Good point about Orlando, they offered Vuccimane & a first for fukking Dragic :dead:

Definitely could have gotten Gordon & Vucci from them for Melo.

:russ: That Orlando gm is in save my job mode

If I'm a team at the deadline and I have a veteran with any value I'm looking to squeeze the fukk out of Orlando

I could see him doing some Billy King shyt with picks

For years, Melo held this organization back. Melo protected his interests not yours. His victories have not been your victories. His triumphs have not been your triumphs, and while he celebrated, there was little to celebrate for struggling fans all across the city of New York.

This carnage stops right here and stops right now.

Together we will make the New York Knicks great again.

@Kristaps Porzingis you alright breh? You been bugging out for a min now.
I'm low key worried about breh.

It's like watching the transcript of when those two Google A.I machine starting talking to each other and they went left on some self awareness fukkery.:merchant:

One minute he's a mild mannered Porzingis' Stan, then he's dividing random NHL stat numbers by number of burgers sold in Tibet, then the Breh is on his Kanye West pro Trump shyt...

The internet is a hell of a drug.:scust:

I think he's past the point of getting a BK pick for, I'd rather just get one of the rookies :hubie:

I think @I.V. meant like a 2 years ago, probably.

Atleast, that's what I thought.

I don't even think Melo would garner such a valuable pick.

Def meant in an alternate universe. The celtics are one of the few teams with a mix of assets and room to maneuver that could facilitate a deal.

If a deal is possible, at all.

Cant wait until melo leaves and knick "fans" turn all their negativity to an undeveloped porzingis and run him outta town lmao

This is silly. You sound like the posters that used to stan for Isiah Thomas.

On a basic level, obviously KP isn't a star right now. And when Melo has been out it has been PAINFULLY obvious that he's nowhere near being able to carry a team. In the end, you have to examine windows, and Melo's is somewhere between closing and closed (the former being his career, the latter being his possibility of success on the knicks.)

Ultimately, when we get some distance, and we look back on how this all played out, there will be two key moments to blame for the failure of his time with the Knicks.
  1. Forcing a trade when he could have signed that following offseason. It gutted the roster, and cost him the surrounding talent and help he has needed this whole time.
  2. Lower-key, the decision to use our exemption to cut Billups. Which ultimately made it impossible to get Chris Paul, who wanted to join Melo here.
The first is something I partly blame melo for, and partly blame the front office. The second is fully the front office's fault. And really, when you look at those two missed opportunities, those two short-sighted decision, they really set the pace for his entire time here. And it is a fukking shame, because I really like Melo. I have rooted for him, and WANT to root for him. I think he represents a bunch of things that I identify with and believe in. And I have always said, and still believe, that you could build a winner around him, you just needed to plan it correctly. With shooters and defenders, and a point guard who knew when to feed him and when to spread it around.

This is not a eulogy, but I feel like today's inauguration has me feeling circumspect.

The set up for the transition team is already laying out prospective floor plans to lay the "How to shyt on the next Knick target" already:pachaha:

Installing the drywall - His potential was permanently stunted by Melo :skip:

Aluminum Sliding - There will be blood counting of FGA. :obama:

Exterior Masonry Wall - The indomitable and always underrated classic of the contrived selfish reasons why he won't sign for less money than what he worked his whole life to be worth :ohlawd:

The highest quality materials that refusing to listen to the COLI about tanking could buy!!:gladbron:

shyt will be like that one Friends episode where Jill spilled spaghetti on Bradley!! Remember that one, fellas?!
