From what you guys have posted, it seems like Frank, if he isn't a bust, will be the best PG to at least help prevent KP getting dumb fouls on the stop gap caused by a defensive breakdown on the perimeter.Ntilikina fits the mold of what type of guard you would want in a modern NBA defense and offense, not just strictly a triangle point guard.
Oh man the boos when we pick Ntikilina over Monk
Knicklikina
In a podcast recorded after the dust had settled from the NBA Draft Lottery, Adrian Wojnarowski said J.J. Redikk, an unrestricted free agent this summer, is being sought not just by the Clippers, but by three Atlantic Division teams, the Nets, Knicks and 76ers.
Woj stated that the Sixers appear to have the most interest, but that the Nets may want to add the 6’4” shooting guard, if the price is right.
“Brooklyn, the Knicks are teams that have interest in Redikk. We'll see how far they're willing to pay,” Woj noted.
He has an infatuation with cacs true shytTo break up the tank talk for a bit:

Why does Phil have interest in JJ Redikk ?
This is from Woj so it's probably legit too.

All very possible reasons, I doubt Phil's so nonsensical as to try sign Reddikk while Lee is still on the team, unless the signing is contingent on other moves being made.My theory is he's keeping Reddikk in mind in case Melo to the Clippers is the only option. A sign and trade with Reddikk would make salary matching as easy as coming up with a figure that works. But it could be that Phil is just doing due diligence on SG's, the Knicks have interviewed and worked out some SG options too recently. If he did chase Reddikk, it'd probably at least mean there's a deal in place to move Lee...hopefully for another pick in this draft, there are a lot of promising players.
No, I can't cosign this. The talk amongst the smart basketball writers is that the draft concept is useless. Basically that rookies should be able to choose their teams, so that tanking or being an incompetent franchise doesn't keep getting rewarded. I personally love this idea. Even tho it means teams like us get screwed a bit, it would force management to actually put a product they'd have to sell to rookies just as much as vets.
Kid Frankie played MUCH tougher comp than ExumI hope Ntikilina is not another Dante Exum. People are too caught up on his size for a PG.
