Hold up.

I want to acknowledge that guys are clearly testy right now, and looking for arguments, because this team is once again in a less-than-great position, and people are upset about it. So I am NOT arguing just to argue.

But I need to know what you mean with this statement. Are you trying to argue that BECAUSE the knicks WOULD HAVE had that lottery pick they traded away, and have stunk, that they HAVE BEEN committed to rebuilding?

Because if the new argument is: The knicks HAVE been committed to rebuilding, and it just ain't working!

We might just need to shutter the threads completely. :heh:
No.

I'm saying even when you're not committed to sabotage or intention losses, your draft position isn't terrible.

This, if we did everything for a rebuild except intentionally losing, we'd still be lottery bound or close more times than not.

:what:

With that being said, am I still contributing the way you thought to why the thread should be shuttered.:comeon:

Remember you asked about what I meant by spooky? Your assumption.:pachaha:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

At 11 seconds the dude chewing gum is the Knicks Euro Scout Kevin Wilson. Same dude who found KP, Willy, and has led their scouting on Ntilkina. So if you hear rumors we like Luka next year we've been scouting him since this year

His arms looked like someone used photoshop, that wingspan to height ratio gotta be serious.

BRUH.

You gotta go read that quote, again. That quote is spooky.

"Well they're basically rebuilding anyway" - is what that statement intimates. And they point-blank have not been rebuilding.

Now, I'm not talking about shuttering the thread because of your specific contributions... but rather, if somebody (like yourself) who is a dedicated fan, is no longer talking about things that actually happened, I'd personally rather not even go forward, knowing there are people in this thread who watch/care about the team far less than (somebody like) you.

Beyond that, this thread keeps throwing around tanking and sabotage and purposely losing, like the team isn't already losing. Nobody wants to see passes fired into the 10 row, not until maybe game 65, when you're in position for a top 4 pick. :scheme:

This team, even with all the talk, and all the LOSSES, has still not accepted its own sheer lack of talent. They have not embraced a cohesive plan to add the talent necessary to compete over the next 3-5 years. I think we can both agree that this team is not a contender, and honestly, not even a playoff level team right now. That's not a surprise, right?

When you say "They would have had top 6 picks, even with all the condescending remarks about committing to a rebuild" - that's false flag alex jones shyt. That's fox news shyt. Because we both know they haven't been committed to rebuilding. They have been trying to add shytty vets and make the playoffs, including the very deal you quote.

That's why I was like, hold up. Because if the new argument on this board is whether or not the team has actually be rebuilding this whole time, simply because they stunk, then I'm not sure this thread is worth having anymore. Because that's not a coherent, reality-based statement. And it was coming from a person who I know watches the team closely.

And again, like I said, guys are clearly in "let me win this argument mode" -- I stated that at the top of my post. I'm not trying to argue -- I was really just more getting a status check. :handshake:

I think people are a little short sighted about Franks supposed lack of explosion. He's a shooter with enough handle to create space and with his frame when he gets stronger he'll be able to post up and shoot over people/pass with his arm length. He's also working on a floater to compensate for when he's not able to get past defenders on drives.

Also, NBA strength and conditioning is much better than anywhere else in the world, plus he's still only 18. He's one of if not the youngest player in the draft, he could become quicker & stronger with the right lifting program.

Calling him a shooter is a bit hyperbole don't you think? :francis:

He doesn't have enough handle. His hall handling doesn't impress me that much he has a loose handle and struggled against ball pressure.

I'm worried he'll be a Mudiay/Exum.

The best thing about this kid is his length and age, he can be an impact defender right away but he is very raw. He's a project, if he had better burst and explosion I wouldn't be as hesitant but he's not particularly fast he just has long strides. Maybe time in the gym will help him reach his athletic potential I don't know. :patrice:

This would be an absolute yes from me.

I don't see the Celtics doing that, even though it would still allow them to both still be in the competitive conversations they want and still have a piece for the future...

But, there is no one that would be bidding against them, they'd probably be able to get Melo for much less.

Especially if he shares KP's appreciation for the resources that help him develop his craft.

I remember KP being blown away that he could go to the gym whenever he wants.
