This franchise has been a shyt show. Phil was brought in to fix it. He's made some mistakes, but his overall philosophy about how to win is correct. These players today are way too entitled. I'm not talking about melo because imo he's earned the right to stand his ground, I'm more so talking about Rose and KP....but as a fan of the KNICKS, I can't just be like "yeah fukk that melo, don't leave, show Phil who run tings!!!" That shyt is stupid. Melo on the team hampers developing an identity going forward. He gotta go. Once melo and rose are gone and the younguns get some breathing room I think we will see results on the court.
If you guys want to say that the triangle is outdated, so is iso-ball.

I actually think they will struggle, but that's ok. They would be a young team like the Lakers and the Timberwolves where in theory once they grow up a little would be a lot more deadly.
Man I hope if the Knicks like him he is still there at #7. I seen too many players rise up the draft board once it became known the knicks like them.
The league and the Media hates the knicks..... then been hated the knicks..... they hated Melo too until it started looking like he might leave...... now the media is "woe is Melo, he deserves better". Trying to keep the media happy has ruined the team. The only way to shut the media up is to win often and dominate while doing it because then they can't say shyt. That level is at best 2-3 seasons from now.

First, no one gives a fukk what Phil Jackson has done as a coach in this situation. He's not a coach. He's team president, that's trying to moonlight as a coach and he's failing. Whatever he's done as a coach is no longer relevant because people have to want to play here and he's shedding a light on the organization that says that it's unprofessional and dysfunctional. With how easily the team president fails to take responsibility for his own actions and looks for scapegoats in every situation. If he were coaching then I would question KP too. But that ain't his coach. That the TP. He doesn't have to respect him as a coach.
We lose games because the triangle is dated and the roster isn't good. Noah 4/72 is a bad deal. Asking him to play Heavy minutes is a bad deal. And no one told him to do that.
You say KP is a nobody to Disagree with Phil? Then who is? MELO can't. KP can't. Steve Mills can't. The fans can't. KP is the most important person (YES PERSON) in the organization right now.
MELO should go, but so should Phil
