Fake news. What year with Melo did the Knicks make it to eastern conference finals?

I listened to Phil's press conference and I'll be completely honest I mostly agree with everything he said. He fukked up with the whole Melo situation but he's right that Melo can't win here and needs to move on.

KP my guy but he's bugging. Flashes of greatness aside, he really hasn't performed to the level where he can just blow off meetings. Tf kinda shyt is that.
I view it more like he's silently protesting shytty management, Phil's overbearing, meddling, ruining the Knicks rep with free agents, can't pick a direction, shifts blame, has outdated notions on how the game should be played, etc. KP is doing the right thing, acting like a leader in my opinion, fukk Phil all day. I hope he keeps it going:wow:

The support against this fukkboy on behalf of an athlete white stayed professional throughout this bullshyt makes be very happy.

I fukking love this kid.

I'm glad you're on KP's side breh, take this rep.:wow:

Yea, nah. Youre not gonna expect me to be professional when you done nothing of the sort for the past 6-8 months. I would have done the same shyt. He has the most leverage in the entire organization at this point. The entire NBA recognizes his talent and potential. I woulda told Phil to kiss my ass on top of not going to the meeting.

He has a NTC !!! Does Phil not know how that works ??? Melo has all the cards . Phil can't do shyt . He has to work with melo to get him off the team ( which due to Melos age salary NTC ) is already super difficult as he's only gonna want to go to a contender. Instead he keep fake flexing .

No he's completely wrong . Melo has a Ntc he doesn't have to go anywhere unless HE wants too why would he let Phil force him out to help a Knicks team that is disrespecting him ??? Also KP is the only other high level talent the Knicks have Phil is suppise to be helping him grow not trying to throw him under the bus

The triangle is not an outdated system, the Warriors, Spurs and Hawks run variations of it bruh. I think Phil is trying to establish an identity, ie Spurs and Warriors. He just didnt go about it the right way but there is logic. If "leaders" aren't buying in you are not going to be successful as we saw this season. As the saying goes you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

What does that have to do with us as fans? We can't win with melo being our main player, it's just a fact. You can disagree with how Phil has treated melo and admit that at the same time. Yes, melo can do whatever he wants, but if he wants to WIN he needs to leave.

Right now the Knicks should focus on rebuilding, not winning right away. Draft young players, get a system in place with clear direction, and evolve an identity. That's how you prepare to contend for years.

KP is a nobody to disagree with Phil. What did he say about him that was so wrong? So he coached some of the greatest players of all time but has to ride KP dikk? fukk that. In the presser he explained that it's not so much the triangle that he's trying to get the players to buy into, it's fundamentals, ball movement, trusting the abilities of your teammates, etc; which just so happen to be vital to the triangle. Instead you got melo and rose taking turns playing hero ball and the rest of the team becomes disenchanted and stops playing hard on defense. That's why we either lose close games, or get blown the fukk out every other night. I'm good off that.

The Knicks used some of the triangle this season not enough to Phil's liking apparently

That's what he was doing as he said it from the get but he definitely went about it wrong. You're right about the teams running a variation of it, but they it's not the style Phil is adamant on.
