Putting kp in that position when hes not ready is gonna lead to more losing and more frustration.
That same mentality would've kept KP on the bench in his first year. Trial by fire, if he's not ready let him take his lumps and learn on the fly. Phil just proved he's an idiot when it comes to being a gm though, so fukk what he thinks about KP, or anything else for that matter.

I just don't think this is the right team or atmosphere to do the trail by fire thing espeically with a player like kp
U see what dat shyt did to Okafor in Philly and to many others before him.

How about this, would you trade him for fultz, ball, jackson? Those will most likely be top 3.

I know. Yes I would trade him for fultz or ball. Since we can get some really good at 6.
I'm not sure on Jackson yet, so that's why idk.

Just a few months ago I posted if the celtics offered the the first pick for KP would you do it and people destroyed me for it. Its hard criticizing KP on this site without people going crazy.
I like KP, I definitely think he can be a career 18-20pts 6-8 rebounds per game guy. I just don't see him as a franchise player.

he averaged 18 this year while being the 3rd option as a second year player...with bumps...in minutes and usage. improved on his inside scoring by a lot
mind you...he was deemed a project
also he's still elite at defending the rim.
barring injury...and seeing his work ethic....he can be a 25+ a night guy...as the featured guy.
he just needs to get bigger and develop a higher basketball iq...which comes with time and work.
im confused how you watch his game and not see the potential.
