actually its Webster ave - and East 138 Street right as you exit off Willis Ave- they are slamming 5 towers there all going up at the same time 20 stories

my beef isnt with the building - my beef is with these fukking politicians and this administration that says "affordatble" is the set asides for a family of 3 that earns 40 K a year - or couple that earns that which is basically NOTHING

no adult who has an average job or even is moderately making it is earning that little of money so they are guaranteed to get someone on assitance or who is elderly or mentally/physically disabled and on disability and then eventually toss them out

the building needs to occure on a massive scale like 1000s of apts and HOMES to accomodate ppl and families -

and instead they are building these door man fukking towers with 200 units with 50 units ( if that ) set aside for so called poor people and everything else costing 2500 a month ...starting.

most of the jobs are service sector jobs and those jobs a disappearing since retail is shrinking not growing .... and the double whammy is that with the salery that is paid for service jobs you could never get or work enough to save to BUY anything ....especially in this economy where you have to have 20% down to buy home.

avg home prices are what 300K? how the fukk does some one earning 60K in a city that costs you 150K to live even comfortably save 60K to put down on a home? do that math cuz - a person earning 60K or 70K takes home half that after taxes...HALF!

NY government and certainly City government they arent building nor are they economically developing for "working" class people esp when he will ticket you 50bux for a expired meter or 120 dollars for double parking or boot a working persons car for 300dollars .. and then build a fukking apt /condo /co-op that costs 700K in a neighborhood where the avg resident earns 40K if they are lucky ???? and say THATS making things better ....

this mayor is a fukking douchy elietest a$$hole .
