I'm not saying there is. I have a roommate. A roommate in the sense that she has her own room, I have mine. I can't reconcile sharing a room with another adult that isn't my lady. It is what it is. I'm not knocking it by calling it what it is.

Yeah. I mean, lemme make this absolutely claro. This is the best city in the world. I love it. You just gotta be on point financially.
Nobody shares a room with someone who isn’t their mate or not in a relationship. I hope you are young to think that basic strangers would share a room together. There are 2 many reasons this would never work and people with brains know that such as , TV or eating or having visitors over being the most important. Nobody in the entire world would be so naive to leave their belongings in the hands of strangers so I’m having problems even reasoning how you came up with the idea of strangers sharing rooms.

Alright, man. If you say so. I never said they were perfect strangers. I aint finna argue with you though. If you think that's outside the realm of possibility, then ok. :manny:
I just think you're seriously underestimating what some people would do just to say they live in an area.

I’m not, I lived with roommates before. Nobody is going to have privacy doing that , nobody is going to give that up knowing that everyday they come home something could be missing or the person sharing the same damn room could have friends over. You think that the other person be like okay I live in such and such but I have no privacy, can’t watch tv or sleep in peace because I’m have a stranger and his friends chilling in my room also.

A little-known Brooklyn neighborhood was named one of the world's coolest places

These cacs have been saying this for years now. One thing I appreciate about the hispanics in Sunset Park is they are fighting back against gentrification. They are very politically active. I wish black people could be like this. :mjcry:I have lived here my whole life and the neighborhood doesn't need gentrification. Crime is very low. It's an immigrant neighbourhood that has culture. We don't need here lame hipster cacs fukk up the neighborhood.:camby:

Interesting article. Basically tourism is down in the city. Alot of retail stores are closing in Manhattan. There is empty space is growing. Retail is in a serious decline in Manhattan

Retailers Brace for New York Real Estate Apocalypse

brick and mortar is pretty dead, rent is too high, and properties are trading hands way over their value ratio

have a lot of bad commercial mortgages coming due from the last crisis still too

perfect storm there

Here in BK it's worse. We have stores that open up and shut down within a year. Even franchises are closing down like Subways and Starbucks are closed down. Smh this isn't sustainable. But the land developers don't care. As long they can build condos and pay off city officials they could care less.
