This is why ultimaltley I might just leave NYC. Rent in Queens is ok but that is unsustainable. I am planning move to the ATL in the next 4 years. It is not worth it. I and my lil bro got a buisness idea in real estate but we went to an REIA meeting and alot of folks are saying try New jersey or CT cuz in NY its over saturated and only the big boys play. They say the south is better. Saw alot of folks with property in NC,Memphis,VA,PA etc. Large majority of them were black and they didnt deal in NYC cuz its hard. The REIA meeting was cool.

Honestly? No, but I'm only 28 and plan to raise my first kid here. Maybe when I hit 40+ I'll want to slow things down and go somewhere else

Thats the whole point im in my early 30's now with no kids, we gotta start building a foundation you see how all those hipsters took over brooklyn, we gotta take the south while the land is cheap... They paying top dollar to develop in nyc... we could do the reverse and buy cheap down there... I'm moving south for my retirement im getting tired of the nyc way of life... too damn expensive...

I'm actually saving with my brother now to buy some property in BK, in an year or two we can be aggressive about it. I just won't live in the fukking south where I'll be surrounded by cacs who are still mad they lost the civil war. I don't mind paying a higher price for that

Nah I live in BK. What I meant was I will move to Queens eventually. I live in BK for my whole life. Plus BK is crazy expensive man. Queens seems much better for me in the short term. Plus Queens is highly underrated. I got some ties there and its mad diverse. Plus the Queens girls . Also Rent is a bit bit cheaper in Queens depending where you live. I have been looking at Ridgewood.
