Well, getting on a weight loss program is only going to work if he realizes that he needs to do it. If not, then he's going to cheat on his diet. A little Ho-ho here, a Little Debbie Zebra Cake there, it all adds up at the end of the day and you wonder why he's not losing weight. He will claim "innocence" and say the diet plan just didn't work. It comes down to intaking less calories than he burns. I think the average american is supposed to burn about 2,000 calories a day. So he should try to keep his calories at about maybe like 800-1,000 per day or even up to 1,500 per day (and Allah knows best). I know when my calories were about 1,450 per day for one month I lost 11 pounds that month. I think i burn about 2,100 calories a day according to my years of tracking calories/weight.
