It's funny, the whole point of the show is Mulder sees some wild stuff and Scully just misses it.
Later on she starts to see some of it but develops amnesia and a perfect reason to what may have been there.
Its been awhile since I've seen the episode, but didn't they have the implant in Scully as evidence?
How did they fumble that one?
I would've thought the episode with all of the doctors would have had Scully believe.
On another note, that episode when they had to live in the suburbs is top 10.

I've been rewatching the whole series recently, I have to say for me, that was a turn off. I really got into the random eps, although some of the story arc with the cancer man and aliens was dope.

I kinda got that was the point. You the viewer, are like both Scully and Mulder, you want to believe, you even get to see some crazy shyt, but its only you and them, knowing the truth that no one would believe. Even when there's proof, its more about dealing with them finding out that the supernatural exist, but never enough if any, evidence of it happening. You keep the secret(s) with them, and that's what made it fun. They already know shyt is out there, they just know they can't tell anyone, not even the FBI.

ok I’m literally 3 episodes in and real talk, if Mulder/Scully are dipping their toes in cases the government doesn’t want them to touch, why the fukk didn’t they literally make those two just disappear.
Season 1, Episode 2 they are investigating a “missing” Air Force pilot who was probably flying planes with alien tech. Mulder breaks into a damn secret air field and gets caught and the military could’ve easily killed him and tossed the body and said it was an accident.
Meanwhile, Scully and her initial skepticism literally hinders their bootleg investigations until the damn alien crafts fly right over her damn head
