They shouldve at least made some shyt up. They could've created their own urban legends
Too much lore to keep up with

To many Fanboys to keep tabs on every insignificant detail from every episode and they will hold the writers accountable even after 12 million seasons

It's obvious the whole show is about angels and demons

"X-Files" has a bad rep for stringing viewers along and not resolving anything (which is another reason why Vince Gilligan made "Breaking Bad", but I digress) but if it ended after 5 seasons, pretty much everything makes sense. Then they'd occasionally make a movie to continue the story.

The problem is, the show was so successful they got renewed for seasons 6 and 7....which means they had to kind of pull stuff out of their ass to keep the story going. The arc you're referring to was actually resolved half way through season 6, with "Two Fathers". So they kept the story somewhat coherent for a bit after 5.

But then they got renewed again, for seasons 8 and 9. :francis:

So what was the ending????:what:

The aliens were supposed to launch a full scale invasion in 2012. That was the final info given in season 9.

Then 2012 rolls around and there's no new "X-Files". :unimpressed:

Then they did season 10 in 2016 and threw that whole thing in the bushes. :unimpressed:

Anyway, this is a long ass way of saying they never resolved it. They should've used season 10 to end that arc instead they bullshytted and after season 11 (again, with no real answers) had low ratings there probably won't be any more "X-Files". Gillian Anderson said she ain't doing any more, anyway.

Well, I wanted to illustrate the fact that they had like 3-4 times to fix the shyt and still dropped the ball.

Chris Carter is a WOAT level show runner. The longer time goes on the more I think people like Darin Moran and Vince Gilligan probably carried the whole fukking show.

 Like I said a few pages back. We need a reimagined series. Could fix a lot of shyt that way.

X-files is one of my favorite shows. Me and my girl usually binge watch it, we're currently on Season 7 :ehh:

One of my favorite characters was Mr. X that brotha was a real one. Anytime you had X, Skinner, and Smoking Man in an episode together you know some shyt is going down :bustback:

That scene where X and Skinner fight in the elevator is crazy

So far every single episode I've seen has been dope (Even though I've been warned the show falls off around Season 8)
I love this show:wow:
