The "guido subculture" was damn near nonexistent around here until jersey shore happened
Urban Dictionary: guido
The most popular definition was added 5 years before the show and says "usually native to the New York/New Jersey Tri-State area"

A show about bootleg mexicans?
@DarlingNikki
I gave good points why the show won't work
1. Washington Heights has very limited relevance, therefore comparing it to a show named after the shoreline of an entire state is wrong
2. More importantly, Dominicans / Latinos are not comparable to white Italian-Americans; I can't imagine random white people in the midwest watching a show based on an area that no one even knows about outside of the tri-state and based on people that are foreign to them (tl;dr: there's a big difference between Italians and Dominicans)
not necessarily true about owning your life.
even if she didnt like the contract or minimum wage pay they probably offered. if the show makes it to a second season and has ratings. she could probably have more room then. hell i would do it for free.
look at the hills kids. jersey shore. those kids got endorsements and money from club or college appearances
That's why they have that Buckwild show. Not a lot of people other than hardcore hicks will watch that though
You do know that only includes every state in the country outside the Northeast?
