I gave good points why the show won't work
1. Washington Heights has very limited relevance, therefore comparing it to a show named after the shoreline of an entire state is wrong
2. More importantly, Dominicans / Latinos are not comparable to white Italian-Americans; I can't imagine random white people in the midwest watching a show based on an area that no one even knows about outside of the tri-state and based on people that are foreign to them (tl;dr: there's a big difference between Italians and Dominicans)

But I agree with whoever already said it. The show can't work because whites won't gravitate to it and blacks won't really connect with the Dominican/Puerto Rican characters, who it seems like are the main characters. Unless they add some black people and more white people on the show, its going to be 1 season

since the cast isn't limited by being latino, that show could have wide appeal
@tremonthustler1 and besides that, there are more rural white communities than Dominican ones (where are they besides Wash Heights, some random NJ towns, and Providence, Rhode Island)
