there alot of guys they can elevate. Cody just needs to start jobbing out and letting actual main event worthy guys climb up the card. The wrestlemania build up was hot but the product has gotten a bit stale since.
Right, we at least need to see him with new blood coming out of the other side of this Wrestlemania (I figure they end up doing either the Roman vs Rock or Rock vs Cody main event, so I dunno where the belt ends up coming in to play.) There's been no one new really involved on the good guys side in this beef in like 3 years, crazy as it is to say

Still got to be episode to watch but yeah, you can tell this was made for non-wrestling fans. Because there’s a lot of shyt that didn’t need to be included.

My favorite part so far is Vince stating that people who suffered abuse shouldn’t use that as an excuse to do it to others :laff:

I'm just wondering what was left on the cutting room floor. I was listening to Bill Simmons pod talking about it and he said they had one four hour interview with Vince that they had to throw out cause he was sick and his voice was sounding like a frog. They also talk about having a bunch of cool stories that didn't fit the picture they were trying to paint with the doc. I just wonder how much good shyt they just ignored.

said it a few pages back, Martha Hart started this false narrative a few years ago on Dark Side of the Ring. now it was mentioned in this Netflix doc which is wild considering how easily you can prove it was a lie.

hate it whenever people lie about the truth of things. the accident was bad enough, trying to sensationalize it even more with something like that is just wrong and disingenuous.

I still can't get over Hoegan being a rat. Lives could have been saved if they had a union and working conditions that didn't include working until you couldn't move anymore than popping pain killers so you can show up the next day. Then that clown sits there and says he takes no responsibility for it and they only did it to feel good

Jonathan Coachman: “Another Production Company On A Major Network Reached Out To Me Yesterday And They’re Doing Another Documentary On The WWE”

During the latest “Behind The Turnbuckle” podcast, Jonathan Coachman and Tommy Carlucci talked about the “Mr. McMahon” Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon.

Coachman said that he was called to participate in the documentary but he didn’t participate because he thought it would be a “hit piece.”

Coachman said, “People need to understand, I got called for this doc, and at the time, I was not prepared to go into a doc that I felt was going to be a hit piece. In hindsight, would I have liked to have been in it? I mean, it doesn’t matter to me one way or the other.”

He continued, “Full transparency, another production company on a major network reached out to me yesterday and they’re doing another documentary on the WWE. I don’t know what the network is. They’re actually calling me today after we get done with this show about me being in that one because a lot of people don’t realize how close I was to Vince for many years. I was his assistant. I was on his plane. I did all the press conferences. This production company, somehow they found out because this lady knew exactly what I had done with Vince when she emailed me yesterday.”

Where’s all this talk about Bret coming from? I never got the vibe from him that he thought he was on Austin or Rock’s level of impacting the biz. Some of you guys making up your own perception. :skip:
“Im an artist”

“The man who pulled the sword out if the stone, bret hart”. - … BRET HART

Believe a man speaking in third person about how he a real hero and wouldnt go back cuz he said they killed owen to get back at him with a straight face until cop told him no. Bret is the only person in the world who thought wwf killed owen on liveppv to get back at him. Its absurd.

Idk how anyone watches this and doesnt see his ego is out of control and always had been. His wcw request of 1 dollar more than hogan shows that… only for hogan to make 5x what bret made the next year. He has serious insecurity issues. He let shyt goto his head and never had a grasp of the business like he thinks which is why he failed in wcw when put on the spot live. He needed wwe to look good. Like vince said, he thinks he was a REAL champion.

Even cornette said he had to laugh because of the artist quote because while bret WAS one, only people who take themselves super seriously tell others they are and he was dying cause its always bret being that guy.

And thats with bret being my fav wrestler as a kid post hulk era and top 5 to this day for me. I looked up to him a lot. I thought he was a great role model and still is but noone loves THE HITMAN more than bret hart.
