This jawn been having me feeling inspired and creating nonstop..even take this to work on my breaks.
Only time I touched my laptop was to transfer files to my usb for mpc.
One thing I will say is getting used to MPC workflow and sequencing.
The sequencing is old school to me as I'm used to fl studio.
I'd say if they replaced the sequences with a fl studio like pattern mode this machine would be the GOAT.
Though I don't mind the limitations because it forces me to create differently.
But there is something to be said about working with hardware over software..
Turnings knobs and hitting pads makes me feel closer to my music and that feeling is
I don't see myself going back to fl studio only for final mixing and adding some automation/gross as my laptop can run fl studio but not the mpc software
any bag made for 17" laptop will workDo y'all have a case/bag for this? I travel M-Thu for work and stay in hotels but man I'd love to bring it with me. It's just too expensive for me to bring in any bag tho
highly recommended. I come from a hw background too and I've never seen anything like it, where you can keep your "crates" and all your sounds right on the box. just the craziest drum machine I've ever used, I'm in love with itI'm still on my ASR/SP 1200/MPC 3000 when I wanna use hardware. Maschine & Ableton been my shyt for software, but I like the idea of these hybrids Akai been doing, might have to check em out
It's amazing how SP1200 has held it's value...I'm still on my ASR/SP 1200/MPC 3000 when I wanna use hardware. Maschine & Ableton been my shyt for software, but I like the idea of these hybrids Akai been doing, might have to check em out
