Did you pick up the Live or use the 2.0 beta yet.
Neither but I'm considering selling my elelment, getting a job and letting the paper from all of that stack and then get the Live or The X. At the same time maybe it doesn't make sense to get it because I have a Maschine MK2 at my crib just sittign in the box lol.
I only copped the element to use it with my ipad apps because the software it has for computer is MPC essentials and is very limited with only 1 track but multiple programs I believe. It can't use studio software and I can't find out a way to crack the studio software either. They made it so the studio software only unlocks with the studio or Renaissance and now I guess these new ones.
I hope the hardware gets an update to fix some of the problems. No browser tagging in standalone, and no realtime timestretch using drum programs/sample edit in standalone. It's in the software though.
That's why I said earlier I hope Akai comes through. They known to release shyt sloppy but get your hopes up with the preview. I remember when the studio came out and people were hearing cracks in the audio and all kinda crap. When they made the IMPC Pro app that was gonna change the game it had memory leak issues and the wav form would look all messed up in it for the samples you were trying to chop.
With that said the fact it has stand alone period is dope and hopefully it's stable. Those problems don't seem too bad but no browser tagging sucks and will slow down work flow if you have a lot of samples on it.
