Action/Thrillers where nukes are a plot device. Protagonist is always close enough to the blast to see the explosion, but far enough to survive in an epic getaway.
First off, you see the blast, you are immediately blinded. Add to that, you not out driving the shockwave and heat from a nuke. Incineration is what you should be hoping for. Outskirts of the blast zone still getting 3rd degree burns and radiation sicknesss from fallout.

doesnt lol, the reason im telling this story is because i havent told nobody, but this dude i used to chill with but didnt really like, well his wife came onto me three times (dont worry i didnt hit), he found out got pissed, couple months went by then he texts me so i say im sorry and he was like forreal i missed hanging out with you,
