That patch yesterday really cut down the grinding. I had no severed heads and last night I got 12. I think they cut the requirements to 25.
The character towers are a lot easier. I'm on tower 5 for Sub-Zero and before I needed to do 125 fatalities and brutalities and they gut it down to 25.
