Projections is the worst kind of criticism. If Owens was really fearful of that he would've left. Again, Fans care way more than the wrestlers do now, Owens is getting paid 3mil a year to be a "midcarder".

Someone said on Fightful last night that they would love to see Punk in the HHH role during if they ever had a contract signing, and both Sean and that fatass Alex said they would love that. Funny since they always criticize WWE for being unoriginal, but are ok with AEW taking yet another storyline from the WWE.

WWE didnt end up going with the summer of punk until November that year, so I figure they mean dont fukk it up to that extent
Punk did it better... MJF just used insider lingo to make it seem spicy, but all he did was a bunch of nonsensical crybaby yelling. He didn't really tell a story. He just did a simple worked shoot. Punk told a story within his worked shoot and it was infinity better.

Punk comes to AEW and they are trying to recreate the Summer of Punk 3 ans the Pipebomb with one of his marks. MJF will end up jobbing out at Forbidden Door. More than likely he's already got his new contract and they will try to use this momentum of ratings.
These worked shoots are so lame 
They make it so obvious that it's a work then it becomes dumb af. Like AEW is gonna give the guy all that TV time to shyt on the owner and all of the wrestlers in the back and then get his mic cut off conveniently when he's finished 
We live in a world of social media everyone is recording on their phones use that shyt to your advantage. As soon as MJF started bringing shyt up they should've gone straight to commercial. Let MJF keep doing his promo to the live crowd for a little longer but then cut his mic and have security remove him from the ring off air. All of this would've been recorded and uploaded to social media and everyone would've seen it anyways but it would've made it seem more legit. MJF leaves the arena realizing his promo was cut and they went to commercial so he goes on a twitter/Instagram rant saying everything he said in the promo. AEW announces the next day that MJF has been suspended indefinitely and they remove his name from the roster and remove his merch from the site.
They could even have MJF go on social media ripping them for removing his merch and release and sell his own merch not on the AEW site kind of like the nWo did with their commercials. The AEW marks would buy all of it that shyt would sell out so fast

AEW is so ass backwards. They should have removed MJF from the roster along with his merch right after the ppv to at least keep people in doubt of him showing up on Dynamite. Then on Dynamite have him come through the crowd into the ring. Instead he walks in like everyone else without a limp or single scratch on him after getting powerbombed to bolivia and stretchered out 3 days prior. 
I thought it was a good promo. It’s only been 24 hours. It might be forgotten in a week or in a few years it might be iconic. Let’s see where this goes. I think he has to take the belt off Punk. Unless he’s just satisfied with getting his money.

I dont think his one is that simple. I think MJF is going to go away while Punk slowly turns into everything Hangman said he would. He beats AEW guy after AEW guy until Tony has to literally beg the one person who beat Punk to get the belt back and its his 2nd worst nightmare MJF. Then MJF asks for ridiculous demands that are met and he beats Punk and becomes a hero and a super main event tryrant heel all on the same night.
ROH did something similar during the ROH vs CZW feud with Jim Cornette who hated Homicide but needed his street brawling for Cage of Death. Homicide asked for three wishes culminating in his ROH title win over a then unstoppable Bryan Danielson.
I hope thats what Tony is going for here.
