So when i heard about this promo people were actn like it was like a pipe bomb…the worst thing he did was call TK A mark which is true…mjf voice was reminding me of the old wcw wild promos

So this went from a shoot to a worked shoot now which takes steam out of it…it was cool but im not sayn it was one the greatest promos either

I figure that Kahn gave him more monry and decided to let him go off with this promo. He can’t do what he’s doing in WWE unless they try to bring the attitude era back or something. AEW ain’t letting him walk especially now. Don’t end up going to the E and end up getting yourself mid carded

If Tony Khan hasn't already secretly extended MJF, he's playing himself with this worked shoot. There's no on screen authority figure like Vince McMahon or HHH to go against like Punk or Steve Austin had. There's no payoff. There's no match that I want to see after that promo. It's just MJF raising his star power and price while burying AEW in front of Warner Discovery execs.

The end result of that promo is, MJF is a bigger star, more of the fans are on his side, and the only exciting result that can come out of all of this is him going to WWE.

all the worked shoots WWE did after the Pipebomb were ass (outside the Miz)

MJF did it perfectly tho :wow:

Reminded me of Steiner shytting on Flair :mjlol:

The pipe bomb was an ass promo. Any midcarder could've pulled off that promo, but not everyone could've done what MJF did.

If MJF made himself into a superstar last night, do you really think Vince would midcard him? :mjlol:

I mean...it was a good promo and I laughed when MJF called Tony a mark because we all know it’s true but nah it’s not one of the greatest promos of all time and it’s not even MJF’s best promo. He’s had way better promos then this particular one but the crowd reaction made it special.

It’s like you can see the battle between heel/ face within MJF where he could’ve turned face but then he flipped it on the fans for being critical of himself and that takes a lot of discipline.

I just hope AEW don’t go overboard with the worked shoots like Russo did in WCW/TNA.

If you speak with conviction and sound from the heart, people can blow shyt out of proportion. It was definitely a good promo, but nothing legendary.
