Likely is? Read my post earlier about MJF working himself into a shoot. He's getting absolute dogshyt advice from someone. I don't think he's overestimating his worth (IMO he'd make people forget about The Miz in a matter of weeks), especially since in 2024 he'll be getting larger contract offers, but for someone who looks up to Cody and Bruce Prichard, he's playing the game completely wrong.

He's not as tall as the Miz, he can't cut his style of promo in the WWE so he won't be able to outperform Miz on the mic, and he's not a great wrestler who has learned to mask his weaknesses like the Miz. I don't see him making people forget about the Miz at all. Hell if EC3 were still around they'd likely be Miz's newest pair of tag team lackeys.

If MJF can continue his "gimmick" of being an a$$hole 24/7 and cut scathing promos then he might be able to stand out. But I don't see Vince nor the fossils around him allowing that to happen. Nor do I see Nick "Business Mind Only" Khan allowing him to stay in kayfabe 24/7 and avoid important brand building initiatives and functions.

I always felt MJF is overrated in ring. Promos, no doubt, but in ring, he is in his words "Mid". Miz is better in ring to me, although he's the poster boy for the WWE style to a degree.

If I'm Tony, then I would either make Wardlow destroy MJF in 8 seconds and then just put MJF on ice for a long while to send a message...

OR tell MJF to take his ass home and then put Wardlow in the TNT title match and have him destroy everyone quickly to win the belt.

Either way it would be Ultimate Warrior-Honky Tonk Man or Goldberg-Brock quick win style. I would be sending a message as boss.

I'm not even saying he's some great worker but when's the last time Miz had a match as good as MJF/Darby or MJF/Punk? Even if he was "carried" that works too. If Miz was better in the ring he'd be a top guy right now instead of a jobber to the stars.
