I think tonight is start of Punk turn win or lose and if it’s gonna be AEW originals vs the signings thing that we’re doing in the world title match, the womens Owen and the bucks/hardys then Punk and Wardlow is a destination match. We’ll see, good thing about AEW is that Wednesday will reset everything

Y'all boys are real funny. Whether or not you think what MizJF is doing is stupid or not (and it likely is) he's just standing up for what he believes in. Sasha and Naomi walked out of the company as tag champions because they felt they weren't being booked correctly as playfighters and you all are okay with that so what's wrong with this playfighter thinking he's worth more money? Technically all three of them had jobs to do (in both meanings of the word) and didn't do it for reasons they feel are valid. Much like people believe about Sasha's potential "star power," I think MJF REALLY is overestimating his worth but that's his prerogative. Whether or not he'll be Miz's shorter Jewish cousin from Long Island remains to be seen but at least it gives us something else to talk about.

Of course here comes the guy to compare Banks/Naomi to MJF.

MJF’s contract ain’t done for another year and a half. That’s the main reason why he’s doing what he’s doing (if it’s legit). There’s no point in getting worked up this early and acting like a punk. Not only that, but he’s fukking up a storyline that has been built up for months and was part of putting OVER an up and coming talent. As far as I’m aware the booking is the least of concern.

Whereas Banks/Naomi were just gonna be used as cannon fodder for no reason. A position a dozen other talents coulda been put in. And there’s no point having tag champs do solo acts if they weren’t gonna face off over the singles belts anyway.

I’m still on the fence about MJF’s situation tho.

Likely is? Read my post earlier about MJF working himself into a shoot. He's getting absolute dogshyt advice from someone. I don't think he's overestimating his worth (IMO he'd make people forget about The Miz in a matter of weeks), especially since in 2024 he'll be getting larger contract offers, but for someone who looks up to Cody and Bruce Prichard, he's playing the game completely wrong.
