I do think AEW could stand to benefit from featuring some of their more home grown and original/early signee talent more.

But I also think a lot of the people aren’t really worth investing in either though.

Lack of TV time is a problem though. Even more reason why I think it’s critical to return Dark to the way it was originally treated as a legit show instead of glorified squash matches. Hell Kenny Omega was even on there. If Dark was originally good enough for Omega it should be good enough for the entire roster to compete on.

For the ones I think they need to invest more in or up the investment. Some of these might not be one of their originals or early signees. I’m not about to look them all up and going to make educated guesses
  • The Acclaimed - they need to be tag champs within a year after Bowens is back from injury
  • Christopher Daniels - why can’t he be a solid mid carder guy in the TNT title scene?
  • Best Friends seem fairly under utilized to me
  • Colt Cabana is a pretty likeable guy, is CM Punk holding him back though?
  • Daniel Garcia
  • Dante Martin - man gets a push then something always fukks it up
  • Eddie Kingston - see Christopher Daniels
  • Ethan Page - why has he never competed for the TNT title
  • Miro - whenever he comes back that is. I know he’s been out for what seems like forever between injuries, TV, and apparently a European vacation. Though his initial run was pretty good, needs to get back to that
  • Santana and Ortiz - one of the best tag teams they have but has rarely if ever been treated that way
  • Kris Statlander - don’t even get me started here, I’m still kissed at Friday lol
  • Jamie Hayer
  • Penelope Ford
  • Thunder Rosa - her title reign has been booked awfully
Some of their more recent exit-WWE signees that just aren’t working out and probably shouldn’t have been signed to begin with
  • Tony Nese - why, just why?
  • Jake Atlas - though I am willing to give him some time once he gets back from injury. He did look pretty good in his last match. Thing is, why sign him when other guys who are probably just as good if not better weren’t getting pushed?
  • Buddy Matthews - and I even like him, but same with Atlas. Why push him when there are others just as good if not better who aren’t getting pushed?
  • Jake Hager - honestly one of the most worthless wrestlers he has ever signed. What on earth ever possessed TK to sign him? At least the only time he is ever featured on TV is so multi-man match. But that spot could be going to countless others who are better
  • The Hardy’s - worthless in 2022
  • reDRagon - and I like them, but the tag division is so stacked I don’t think it was worth it and I can’t see either getting a legitimate push in singles. Perhaps when we Omega comes back and we get that rumored split between the Elite and the Undisputed then that will change
  • Matt Sydal
AEW should’ve really followed early TNA. Early tna pushed ALL their own talent instantly. The roster is too big, and they should do a brand split. They need to go back and make dark important (like you said). You have all these guys on dark with big positive records and you don’t know who the fukk they are. Hell, they don’t even mention dark on tv. Easy problems and easy solutions.

Note I would have put MJF on the "they need to do better with him" list because he should have had at least the TNT belt by now, but the regular dumbassery is going to make that tough to justify going forward.

I don't know what AEW you all are watching but all the current champs have pretty much been there since the jump or even before the influx of new talent.
While true, there are still some of the early days talent that hasn't gotten the push they should have gotten. Hayter, Statlander, Ethan Page, Santana, and Ortiz seem like the most egregious ones to me.

To be fair. Ethan page is still fairly new he only left tna a couple months ago. Santana and Ortiz should’ve had a run by now tho. I think the inner circle held them back.

This is why I was against the signing of all those WWE guys last year. The only one that should've been let in was Danielson, Punk and Christian. Adding Undisputed Era lite, Toni Storm, Keith Lee and the rest of them been fukking up the flow of the program. And now TK is making it a priority to pay them instead of a talent that'll carry the company in a few years? :childplease:

Why does everyone want these small rosters with repetitive matches all the time? It allows for injuries, time away, etc. without completely killing your product. I don't need to see the same people every week.

AEW signs new people and they barely get used why is that? Too many people not enough time.

I think AEW has done well with showcasing "homegrown"talent (or at least people who werent as known before AEW). People can complain about signing too many new people but its like who would have left from the past 8 months? A lot of the signings were a reaction to diversity/women issue and just dope talent that was around.
Also they got RoH that they need to supply when it gets going. Just cause its not there right now doesnt mean you dont have people on deck to move.

Yeah too many people is an issue because other people dont get a chance but I also looked at AEW as a roatating roster, design to keep things fresh. It wasnt that long ago people were complaining that the Dark Order was on too much and now people miss them. so idk man like the overinflated roster is a valid thing but I dont think its done without reason.

He probably saw all the NXT jabronis getting signed and put on TV & saw some of the AEW originals get pushed out and felt some type of way since he trains/came up with a lot of the AEW originals. In all honesty, I don't blame him if that's the reason. The worst thing TK did was sign all the guys that he beat in the ratings war and feature them heavily on television, particularly bum ass Adam Cole :francis:

Those originals would hate him for messing up Wardlow moment

They have 4 shows.
Like people can complain about Dark and Elevation being main event but some people just wanna wrestle and they got them flex contracts to do indies.

That said Im also sure theres people on the talent without that perspective

While that's true, its very likely that CM Punk becomes champ tonight and Adam Cole/Samoa Joe is about to win their whole tournament, Ruby Soho as well(although I think Britt might win)
