It's one thing to tweet and show support for Kaep and all that good stuff, but there's going to be a lot of big ups in his ear when it comes time to branding/marketing discussion. And Rock has always played it safe and followed the $.

For sure there's a risk. There's a risk attached to buying an IP that has failed twice too.
If they do decide to look into making the league more progressive - I think there would be a gap in the market for that. Damn near every other league is run by an old boys' club made up of fossilised cacs who are deeply invested in keeping America exactly the way it is.
I would be really interested to see if they have Black team owners or if they go the same route that Vince was trying with the league owning all the teams.

I think its going to depend a lot on how the XFL treats its football players. If the players are treated better than NFL players, it may cause some of them to look at other options for their career.

Plus I think a lot of the people are overlooking how bad the new NFL CBA is for the players. I'm sure a lot of them aren't happy with the new deal.
Another thing about this....they were just celebrating a bunch of women being owners of the new Angel City FC women's soccer team out in L.A. and Dany Garcia went and got a whole league.

Nothing against The Rock whose intentions may be good, but supporting progression and making Kaep (including his famous Nike deal) the face of the sport are no longer as "controversial" as MAGA heads would make you think.
Just imagine if the Rock succeeds at what he failed twice with, I honestly think Vince would be miserable & bitter about it for the rest of his life
