Maybe the XFL owns some tech or other intellectual properties that they can license off/sell to the NFL or other companies.
This makes the most sense

For Kaep to join the XFL, the league would have to be super, super progressive. Is The Rock built like that?
It's one thing to tweet and show support for Kaep and all that good stuff, but there's going to be a lot of big ups in his ear when it comes time to branding/marketing discussion. And Rock has always played it safe and followed the $.
2020 looks to hopefully be a change in shift when it comes to progressive-ness but we'll see if the XFL would be willing to take Kaep because A LOT comes with that (stuff I am all for but you out your damn mind if you think Rock's partners and execs will be like "Sure, bring the political divide in !" )

For sure there's a risk. There's a risk attached to buying an IP that has failed twice too.
If they do decide to look into making the league more progressive - I think there would be a gap in the market for that. Damn near every other league is run by an old boys' club made up of fossilised cacs who are deeply invested in keeping America exactly the way it is.
I would be really interested to see if they have Black team owners or if they go the same route that Vince was trying with the league owning all the teams.
When the BLM movement exploded into the mainstream with George Floyd's death, remember how all companies suddenly became BLM supporters? For Kaep to join the XFL, the league would have to be super, super progressive. Is The Rock built like that?

Just imagine if the Rock succeeds at what he failed twice with, I honestly think Vince would be miserable & bitter about it for the rest of his lifeThis is the perfect example why Vinny Mac doesn’t want his wrestlers to strive off and become bigger then the business.
