Slightly off topic, but The Rock and Dany Garcia have the best working relationship I have ever seen in ex-partners in marriage. She is still his manager and they are both eating and growing their businesses, and living their own lives. We never see that happen but Im happy for them.
Man he got the greatest ex wife ever. GKNL

That because he has to wake up every morning at his old age knowing that hes nothing but an old carny bytch, and he will never break out from that mold. His dream of owning a major football league is now over.
Old piece of shyt deserves all the ether burning his soul right now
I am legitimately happy for Rock as well as for Vince's failure

Unless I'm remembering wrong, Vince invested somewhere around $500 Million this time around

A lot more went into that than what Rock and his partners just bought though. If they're gonna run it next year and have games they're gonna put a lot more money into it.

I think its going to depend a lot on how the XFL treats its football players. If the players are treated better than NFL players, it may cause some of them to look at other options for their career.

No NFL players are going to up and leave to join the XFL, the money ain't right and won't be right for a minute. The leagues will work well in tandem as the XFL can double as a developmental league.

Now maybe 10-20 years from now if the XFL is still alive and thriving and they keep sinking in money and you have a generational fanbase and a salary cap that rivals the NFL that's when it becomes a discussion.

He is doing vince a solid favor, it dont make no sense to operate a football league it cost over 200 mil why would you buy this when it is a hard business to make money in when you wont get no tv deal that will pay u ....

I smell something funny with this deal, i think he is holding it for vince, so it wont look funny on why vince filed for bankruptcy

Uncertain grounds
This could.potentially be a golden opportunity for the XFL

The NFL will likely have to scrap their season at some point due to a lack of a bubble. If the XFL got to work quick and created a bubble situation for their teams (somehow) they might be able to play a season without any football competition whatsoever (college or pro)
